Bio
While the ashes of marriage #2 were cooling, I began a journal here in verse, to keep myself out of trouble. So far so good, and one day at a time. I took a hiatus this past January, and I missed it terribly. Writing daily had changed the way I think - not my opinions, but the process of thinking itself. So here I am back again, and hungry. I began with three rules: (1) Iambic pentameter, (2) Perfect rhyme, and (3) It had to be true (no hyperbole). I hereby amend rule number 3: If I'm writing about myself, yes, it has to be true. But it doesn't, if I want to tell a story.

I um... Sunday Nov 21, 2010

Rate: 11 Flag

I hate to gripe, but now and then uh... well,
There's certain things I'm trying not to tell.
And now and then they just get in the way,
These things I'm really trying not to say.
I'm well behaved.  But lately my attention
Is lost to things it's better not to mention:
Of all the women here on Earth, a few know.
The cooler weather makes me kind of... you know.

Shrink?
I mean, shrink from telling it like it is?
No, I mean shrink from going out in the snow?
Shrink from people who still remember "Seinfield" scenes?
Excellent. Beautifully oblique. You know.
Dancing around it is the Man Way. You are perfectly normal! And very funny.
That's why God made margins, for notes and words not ready to be said out loud, for holding until they and you are ready for sharing or for letting go. Perhaps.
There are many website that can help you with "that." hahahaha
Not too sure what I have stumbled on to here, you withheld just a little too much!
"The cooler weather makes me kind of... you know."

what do you mean - do tell :)

The end caught me totally off guard - I love that.
Well like um, there was this thing and um then I heard, you know...
Rated!
I can relate. And I appreciate your decorum (although I think it's highly overrated).
Now this was wonderfully circuitous!

Smiling here ... and I'm not saying any more!!!! : )
Thanks everyone. I got caught up short for time posting late late late (again again again). I missed my chance to respond in any kind of timely way here. Just, you know, thanks. A million times.
