L in the Southeast's Blogger Space

Rate: 12 Flag

For those of you who don't know her, L in the Southeast is an Open Salon blogger who writes about politics and social issues, among other topics. She describes herself as "born and raised in suburban Chicago to a multicultural family of hard-working working class people. I was given every tool to be a contributing member of society -- Catholic school, Girl Scouts, lessons in several of the arts, even a debutante bow at the ball. I wasn't having any of it."

L in the Southeast graciously offered to let me re-post a multimedia piece of her writer's den that ran on her Open Salon blog last year. Click on the "play" button below to check out her gorgeous and sumptuous Blogger Space.

Blogger Space is a series devoted to showcasing the places bloggers choose to write. Want to show off your digs? Send a photo of your space, a blurb about why you write where you do, and a link to your blog to divorcedpauline@aol.com.

Very interesting. I'll check it out. I love a peek into someone's life and creativity.
I love L in the Southwest, one of my favorites

Wow! I am green with Writer's Den envy. Love it!
I noticed a small piece of lint in the corner of the living room.
That's exactly what Leepin' Larry said the first time this piece was posted! What do you suppose he's trying to say, huh? :D

Ooooh, that fancy bed.
Gorgeous.
Now shamed by L's beautiful abode, I will never show how I drape over the kitchen counter to share our family desktop...although Husband says he always appreciates the view when I'm writing. : )
Its lovely just as she is.
Jane, I actually do think of my own space as a blogger space, perhaps because it's so tiny. My writing really took off when I started a blog, so I'm sentimental about the word. That said, I consider myself a writer who blogs, instead of just a straightahead blogger.
I saw her video last year and remain in awe of her perfectly decorated writing space. She's an inspiration.
I remember when Lezlie posted these images last year. I love how her home reflects what a classy lady she is! Thanks for doing the "Blogger Space" series, Pauline. Always enjoyable, and so kind of you to showcase other writers.
