In the dark of the night last night Nancy Pelosi made good on her promise to pass the House Health Reform Bill.
Apparently, she had finally paid off enough people to get the votes she needed.
I'm not surprised in the least that it passed, I expected it to.
However, what gives me GREAT joy is how it passed.
The vote was 220-215. It broke down mainly along party lines but there were some key defections.
About 39 Democrats from conservative districts voted against it. ONE Republican from New Orleans (no big surprise there) voted for it.
Essentially that means that the Democrats now OWN this. It still remains to be seen as to what might happen in the Senate but the House made it's wishes known and all of those votes are ON RECORD.
The conservative Dems that voted against it may have saved their hides from defeat in November. We shall see.
However, the Dems that DID vote for it have declared loud and clear that they are more willing to listen to their benefactor's and the special interest groups than the American People.
Apparently, you've learned nothing from the GOP victories in VA and NJ.
Fine. You've affixed the hangman's noose around your neck. We'll gladly pull the lever come November.
It will be interesting to see the backlash that comes when the PEOPLE get wind of what's really in this piece of trash legislation.
MOST who voted yesterday STILL haven't read the whole thing even now.
Wait until the youth realize they will need to pay for health insurance while budgeting for college, their apartment, car payment, and student loans. Should be interesting.
Wait until the FIRST time they try to fine or improson someone for NOT having health insurance. You think the last TEA Party was big? You haven't seen anything yet.
In the Politico over the weekend there was a report about the wealth of our so called Representatives in Congress that was VERY enlightening.
It turns out that there are 237 MILLIONAIRES in Congress.
That equates to 44% of the entire Congress.
Compare that with society at large which is just 1%.
Keep in mind also that some of these same people will NEVER be required to follow this legislation because they get FREE healthcare for life.
Now doesn't that make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside about our "leaders?"
This is the perfect example of a noble, elitest mentality and it must be stopped.
Since Congress did NOT listen to us when we emailed, called and wrote them in D.C. it is quite obvious to me that we need to use different tactics.
I'll leave that up to my fellow patriots out there. Use your creativity. Is it too old fashioned to Tar and Feather someone?
What would our government do if MILLIONS decided they have had enough and decided to march into The Capitol and drag these bums into the street.
I'm sure they would call on security and maybe even the DC Police but trust me, there is not enough security to hold off THAT many people.
Are these desperate measures? Sure. Do we live in desperate times? Yes.
Enough is enough. It's time to MAKE them hear us.
A message to those in Congress that ignored the PEOPLE: Your days are numbered so enjoy them while you can.
The NEW Revolution is upon you.

You said "wait until the youth find out hat they will need to pay".....etc. How do you know what will be in the final bill? It just passed from the House to the Senate. It will be re-debated and remade in the Senate. You dont know what will or will not be in it.
Also, even if there were a change from one party to another in the legislature, which I highly doubt, that is not a "revolution."
And did the teabaggers learn a lesson from the past election? It seems when their new found profits showed up the Republican candidates turned them away, and won. But when the first candidate of the Conservative Republicans of America Party gladly accepted their support he lost, in a mostly White blue collar specifically gerrymandered Republican district.
