DADT's Repeal Has Possible Dangerous Consequences

Rate: 0 Flag

I know that the media and The Pentagon claimed that their surveys showed that our men and women in uniform would not be all that resistant to a repeal of DADT but the truth however is very different.

You see, they were correct in saying that troops would be ok with it and they would not have any issues against DADT being repealed because they failed to mention WHAT troops they cited in their surveys.

What they DIDN'T tell you is what the troops on the front lines thought. The people where this WILL make a difference. What about their opinions.

Well they actually were asked to give their opinion on this issue and they DID speak out about it. The problem is you most likely never heard what their opinion was unless you actually read the DADT Survey's website and crunched all the data.

The planned on the fact that the sheeple as usual would leave the heavy lifting to their elected representatives who they knew would manipulate the data for their own agenda.

So what DID our combat troops think about the repeal of DADT?

Cross-tabbed data displayed on the 2010 DADT Survey website indicate that among Army combat arms personnel, 21.4% would leave sooner than planned, and 14.6% would think about leaving–a total potential loss of more than a third (36%) of those valuable troops.  (DADT Survey Appendix J, p. 53)

The data also found that 32% of Marines said they would leave sooner than planned, and 16.2% would consider an early end to their careers, totaling almost half of our Marines.  (DADT Survey Appendix L, p. 47)

To add insult to injury, the report also found that “only 12%” of families were likely to decline re-enlistment which could put remaining troops in greater danger, and break the All-Volunteer Force.  (CRWG Report, p. 4)

Consider that fact that the Marines number roughly 202,000 as of late October of this year and apply that 40% number to that figure and you are looking at 80,000+ Marines walking out the door. MOST of which are seasoned combat veterans.

As a former Marine I know that the Marine Corps generally recruits 28,000 new Marines a year. If they lost 80,000 Marines in one 12 month period they would be decimated. I know that many of you will look at this and say "Why can't they just triple their recruiting goals?" Anyone who says that has never spent a day as a military recruiter.

Apply the same statistics to the Army and the picture is no better. The Army's full strength is currently at roughly 560,000. If these numbers were to hold true then they would lose roughly 142,000 soldiers in an environment where they only recruited 75,000 last year. The recruiting goals for the Army would need to double.

Now you can start to see WHY this data was hidden from the public. If the American People knew that their military was on the brink of extinction in a time when they are needed most there would have been an outcry across this great nation.

As usual though, they lied to and manipulated us. They did what they wanted to do so that they could satisfy their left-wing base. After the shellacking they took in November they needed something, ANYTHING to appease them. This was their offering.

Only time will tell if these numbers hold up and we witness a mass exodus from the military due to this selfish action of political cowardice. However, there is one group of folks that it's not such a good idea to ignore in a time of war and that is our frontline troops.

The veterans that are out there now have learned the lessons needed to confront our enemies and win. If they decide to walk away and take that knowledge with them we will see many more dead servicemen and women come home. It will take time and blood to re-learn those lessons.

We will see our military relegated to a second class force in the world and we will see America embarrassed and defeated on the field of battle. Our enemies will take full advantage of our weakness and they will hit us hard.

The repeal of this policy will cause much bloodshed and that blood will be on the hands of those who voted to repeal it.

Hmmmm. The silence is deafening.
There are many problems with today's "diversified" military. If you are unaware your bunkmate is a fag, this would not seem to adversely affect combat readiness. If DADT repeal means that flaming homos get to strutt their stuff in front of the heterosexual service members, then certainly you have a problem.

Unfortunately, the U.S. military has become an affirmative action haven. Statistically, white combat troops have been dying in disproportionately higher numbers than their minority counterparts, due to the fact that most black/latino troops choose to remain in rear area MOS's. It's the young whites who are dying for ZOG.

Our Navy is a complete disaster.
Mr. Nutjob, or...may I call you Nutsack? Thank you. Mr. Nutsack, I'd be interested in seeing something, besides your own statement to that effect, which demonstrates that black/Latino soldiers are less likely to serve on the front line than whites. Do you perchance have a link to an article you read, or, as seems more likely, are you just trying to get in DJohn's pants?
