Just by reading that headline I imagine many of you will think I am going to be talking about the Rapture that wasn't. Well you would be wrong. This is not going to be about the impending end of the world...just America.

We are in BIG trouble folks and I mean BIG trouble. How do I know this? The results of the special election out of the 26th Congressional District of New York spoke volumes.

The results might not be indicative of the coming election but they could be. However, this is not about Obama and 2012. This is about the failure of the American People to realize that we MUST do something to fix our entitlements program in this country and we are quickly running out of time.

Regardless of whether you like the plan put forward by GOP Representative Paul Ryan or not (I do), people should at least listen to the man and do some of their own research before condemning it. Instead the Dems are out there trying to demagogue the issue as usual. 

Democrat Kathy Hochul's victory should send a chill down your spine. She campaigned on doing NOTHING to MediCare and her campaign did a great job of scaring the seniors in her district that they were going to lose all of their MediCare IMMEDIATELY. As usual, the facts would have shown otherwise but who needs facts? This is politics!!!

What is even MORE disgusting is the fact that the Dems (Yes Chucky Schumer I talking about you) are now touting this as a complete rejection of the Paul Ryan plan. Wrong again. Remember, facts don’t count. This is politics.

The media has been doing a great job of whipping the "old folks" into a frenzy and many are downright paranoid of what is going to happen with their MediCare plan. 

Here's the REAL truth: it's not going to matter in 10 years. MediCare is going broke and that is a fact. There are approximately 10,000 Baby Boomers who are coming onto the MediCare rolls every DAY. The number of recipients will be 10 times what it is now in just a few short years and we somehow think that all is well. HOW? 

Do you know what China is doing right now? They are buying up most of the world's Silver and Gold....commodities that will be a "safe haven" against a weakening dollar. Even the Chinese are worried about our economy collapsing.

So what are they doing in Washington these days? NOTHING. NADA.  ZIP. ZILCH. They are playing politics as usual. There are a few serious patriots up there on both sides of the aisle that see what is coming that the rest of those overpaid idiots are fiddling while the flames grow higher across this fruited plain.

However, I can't blame then Congress because they are obviously taking their marching order from their constituents. If the PEOPLE don’t care about this issue why should they? They are set for life anyway. Most of them can walk away tomorrow and never worry about a thing financially. Such is American politics these days. WE have a bunch of selfish millionaires and billionaires telling US what we can and can't do with our money whilst they spend it like it's Monopoly Money.

It's time to wake up folks and hold them accountable. We need to make sure they hear us and we need to make sure that they fix this mess. If we don't it's all over. America will suffer immensely. It's just simple math. We can't keep spending like we have a money tree somewhere because we don't.

I can only hope that the Dems are not so selfish and power hungry to get back control of Congress that they would be willing to sit idly by and do nothing while this system crumbles all around them.  When Mr. Democrat himself, Bill Clinton says he hopes they don't use this victory to do nothing you know things are getting to the panic stage.

Enough lies. Enough games. Let's come together and fix this problem for the good of the country or as my favorite song by Billy Joel cites "We will all go down together."
