Hope that everyone is enjoying the OS Avatar Collage project.  

For those of you that didn’t see this earlier (back in October when it first came to light, the brain child of Skeptic Turtle), the project has now been expanded and is underway.  The goal is to collect up to 400 profile photos (avatars) from all you OS bloggers out there for a collage poster and other merchandise (coffee mugs, t-shirts, etc) that will be unveiled by mid-December. 

The way we are doing this is to have each person create a post on their blog that includes a decent resolution image of their avatar (no copyrighted images without permission, though). Make sure to include the tag ‘os collage’ so that we can find it.  After that, Steve and Mary (of DogWoman fame) will download the image from your blog and then use it to create the collage.  

The project was postponed back in October due to a permissions and supplier issue, but it is now back up and running full steam ahead.  We have also been given the go ahead by the good folks who run Open Salon to use the OS logo on the merchandise.  How cool is that?
