OK, all you Led Heads, this one’s for you. Dog people, you’ll appreciate the title cameo by our own Black Dog. According to music legend, Led Zeppelin’s song “Black Dog,” which has nothing to do with a dog--black or otherwise, was so named because while the group was recording it, a black dog walked through the studio.
Sasha chases her tail all the time, mostly when she’s excited or neurotic about something. There’s no sound when the video starts; nothing is wrong with your computer. The sound starts after an oval fade from intro to song.
If you look closely, you’ll see a black dog sculpture on the right end of our mantel that Steve got me. It’s made from coal and he got it from the Tamarack Center on the West Virginia Turnpike. There’s also an Alaskan ulu (skinning and multi-purpose tool) on the mantel made by John Auliye, arguably one of the original mushers from the 1925 Serum Run that the Iditarod commemorates.
There’s an amusing bonus extra—an outtake--at the end. Hope this brings holiday cheer!
This will sound much better if, as soon as YouTube opens, you click “WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY” at the bottom right of the video under the volume setting. I deliberately didn't embed the video here (which would only display the normal quality version) so that you can watch it in high quality on the YouTube site.
Here it is on YouTube:

Thumbified!
Sasha can be considered 1st groupie.
I also dig how he gets into the groove towards the end, keeping time with that left leg and shakin those hips a little bit. Agree with Greg - I wanted to hear some Bonzo skin pounding, too.
The Pound of Rock will solve all problems. Daga rings. Daga.
