The Weasel: Psychotic Sand & Snow Tail Chasing

Rate: 6 Flag

In order to appreciate the appropriate lyrics, please drag the song progress bar to about 2:10 (we know how to edit a song that we own to start where we want, but we don't know how to embed it except from imeem; enlightenment is welcome!)

You Spin Me Right Round - Dead Or Alive

Sasha The Weasel is an equal opportunity tail chaser.  She chases her tail when she's excited, happy, neurotic, and just full of too much energy.  Here she is out on the sand bar near Crawl Key in December and in our back yard after a heavy snow in January.  I wish I had this much energy!

Go Weasel!The Weasel Tail Chasing

No weasels were harmed while filming this "Flip Book."  :)

If you enjoyed this, please check out a similar “Flip Book” of our younger son Andrew diving in surf and snow, called Woo Hoo Woo Hoo Hoo - Snow and Surf Fun, by my husband Steve, The Bionic Man.

How did you learn how to do all this on a blog? Amazing!
Ben Sen,
I myself am a bear of relatively small brain, but I have the great good fortune to have married a techie genius. Steve does most of my photoshop work and he figured out how to embed music. If you want instructions from my favorite minion, message The Bionic Man and ask him. He likes to help out fellow OSers.
She is too cute for her own good. :)

What does she do when she catches her tail? Is it a catch-release-chase scenario? When Abby gets hold of hers, she clamps it in her mouth and keeps spinning, trying to catch the rest of it I think.
Sasha will keep spinning with her tail in her mouth like Abby, but she can also walk on a leash up the driveway sideways like a crab with her tail in her mouth. I'm not sure there's really a point to the game as much as it's a release of energy. I wish I had a fraction of her energy!
OK, that visual made me laugh out loud. Aren't they fun to have around? :)
Surreal and vertigo-inducing, and Very fun and Very present! You go, Grrrrl (referring to Sasha)!
Hey...You know how to wake a person up.....And keep me awake....Thanks....Love you....
merwoman, yes daily laughs provided by The Weasel are joyous, therapeutic, and healing.

Connie,
Good thing you don't live with her--tail chasing is a daily event here! "You go, Grrrrrl" is a gem I'm treasure and reuse!

Nan,
Yes, I think Sasha might help keep you awake! She's a pistol.
Excellent! Thanks for the smile. Rated.
