For MEB, forever.
Right now, there are eightmilitary C-130 tankers, the entire fleet, fighting fires in Colorado, each capable of holding 3,000 gallons of fuel, a big load for refueling American provided Israeli F-15 I Raam fighter bombers.
Meanwhile, Israel is nervous about our level of commitment to doing whatever it takes to make sure Iran doesn't have a nuclear weapon.
What's the connection?
Due to range, Israel has a hard time bringing to bear a large enough number of planes over target to make sure that it can take out the desired Iranian fancilities, since they don't have many tankers to refuel their planes, a role the C-130s can perform, if there are other planes one could transfer that would be even better to refuel F-15I Raam fighter bombers dropping "Bunker Busting" bombs on Iranian nuclear facilities.
If you want to demonstrate resolve, however, transferring the means of doing that in a way that sends the most powerful signal that America is willing to let events slide out of control, including a unilateral Israeli strike, transferring all the tankers fighting wild fires in Chicago is the most powerful available signal to Iran that time is of the essence to make a deal before it is too late.
If you want peace, prepare for war.
