It's such a gratuitous name, so bound to provoke, that some would wonder if Pussy Riot is really Putin, even if, or rather especially if, Pussy Riot doesn't have to know that.
It's so easy to manipulate left wing groups that have a long pedigree in Russia prior to the Revolution, which is why on more than one occasion the Tsar's secret police used left wing groups to kill people like probably Alexander II, definitely Stolypin, and not to mention all the other people killed by the People's Will, Alexander I think most likely.
The reason to do that is to be able to say to the reactionary elements which always are powerful in any society, since daily life makes most people like to keep what little or much they may have, "See, the people who want to change things are dangerous."
So, if you look at the onset of Pussy Riot, it is curious as to 2011, which might well have been missed by certain "services" as to who was ultimately in control of such a thing, especially the gratuitous nature of the "Pussy Riot" in of all places Christ the Savior.
Hello?
Now some in the West might have thought that cute, hip, but not Red state Russia, which of course would be the point of the provocation hypothesis as to actual control, and, even better, it raises some tensions with the West, which of course also rationalizes Putin's existence.

The more things change skypixeo.
To be precise Alan, the murder of Stolypin was most definitely an Ohkrana operation, just like Father Gapon leading the crowds at Bloody Sunday in 1905 was Ohkrana.
I can't prove they whacked Alexander II, but it wouldn't be the first time, see Paul, and, if you look at the timing, right before he was going to issue a constitution, it reeks of them.
either pussy riot is unpopular band which never resonated with their target audience, or the youth of russia are completely intimidated by putins thousands of secret police.
maybe both
