understanding the fact that you weren't paying attention to what I had to say.  I decided there was something more prevalent on your mind.  

of course this came with your perspective which was always going to be reinforced with what he had to say whether it was correct or not.

Eventually I found that I was dealing with a straight idiot that expected a homogenized upbringing that could recite to me all kinds of insignifcant stupid stuff that isn't true.

Reinforcing my belief that there is nothing he has to say that I should be listening to.  Just like Private First Class Doty that sat next to me and all the others.  Without them I would be just fine.  The only 'incriminating evidence' they have is themselves doing things that they feel I need to correct.
