Around a month ago, I posted about my ugly fireplace. Well, yesterday I worked on some do it yourself improvements. I used wall flats from inhabit living... Right now its temporary - I want to live with it and see if I like the new look and feel.

I love the inhabit tiles--I see you have them on the hearth as well. At the risk of sounding like the fire marshall, are they going to catch on fire??

I've been eying those 3-D tiles for ages, but I confess that every time I consider putting them up in my house somewhere I think: those little ledges... who's going to dust them?

I love the little figures lined up on the top :)
