This is work. I try to post once a day but am too busy to post anything other than work today.
Students have a hard time using old papers to plagiarize this assignment be those papers their own or procured from elsewhere. They also learn the research process.
I-Search Paper Components

2. Provide an annotated bibliography of five academic sources in APA or MLA style.
3. Prepare a one-page explanation of why two of these sources are more appropriate and useful for your final paper than the other three sources based on APA or MLA requirements and your research of the authors on Google Scholar.
4. Prepare an annotated bibliography of five popular media sources in APA or MLA Style.
5. Prepare a one page explanation of the commonplaces used in the sources, the appeals derived from these commonplaces, and the biases evident in these sources. Decide which two of the five possible sources are more useful for your final paper.
6. Provide notes of an interview with an expert in your topic and interviews with two of your classmates who have an interest in and observations about your topic.
7. Do a Google search and search other resources for appropriate visuals or graphics for your paper. Prepare a Word document discussing the merits of these visuals or graphics.
8. Prepare an outline of a 20-page paper with sub-topics related to your paper.
9. Write a three-page research paper of one of the sub-topics using appropriate MLA or APA style.
10. Provide a one-page cover memo for the three-page research paper in which you discuss

b. Commonplaces you used in the short research paper.
c. The emotional, ethical, and logical appeals created by the use of these commonplaces.
d. The appropriate evidence provided to support your assertions from personal observation/experience, academic sources, or popular media sources.
All of these components should be neatly labeled in your folder and typed by 12/1. We will be working on them every day in class for the next four weeks.
