#21 “Life moves pretty fast. You don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it”. Ferris - Ferris Bueller’s Day Off 1986

When the day comes that you are competing, what more do you really want to win?
I began this blog to show you that not only is competition within sports, or careers or other people.. its most importantly within ourselves. We compete our choices each day. Put some value or worth on the ones we most relate to or trust the outcome because we know its safe. I see more and more people, and even myself choose the "usual". Go with the same menu item, watch the same television show, drive the same freeway, speak the same language... are we creatures of habit, or routine, or afraid to compete with ourselves?
We don't want to fail, yet how do you know what it feels like to succeed when you are so afraid to try?
I like to look around and see how people inspire others. I like to see what makes a person "popular". Why do people flock towards those people? Why are those people getting all the attention? I think the minute we realize that we are just like one another.. competition becomes easier.
Who is your biggest competition, and why? Do we always get what we want?
NO! We don't. But, we keep chasing that same satisfaction. Are we all hunters? Are we gatherers? I may compete myself each day, but, I know that I've won when I wake up the next and have a new mission.
