#38 “You don’t look at the things you have, you only look at the stuff you don’t have. Those guys are right about you-you’re money. ” Rob - Swingers 1996
Can we possibly only want what we can't have? Is it possible that when we realize what we have, we are only eager to seek the "what if" in things we don't have? This movie is a riot... "you're money". I swear Trent says that after every line. Its quite interesting that we find ourselves using words, terms and gesterues when we speak. Initially our conversations don't seem like we are blabbering off into non-existence about complete BS... but, we are literally telling a story through our experiences; only it just comes out our face.
If we are creating our own story...writing our own chapters in life...are we right on the money?
Trent says "You're so money and you don't even know it!" Do we rely on them for our self confidence and ego boosting? Think about your friends... how do you compete with them? Are you bolstering them up? Are you telling them they're money? Are you waiting for the right moment to let them know they're full of BS?
"Excuse me darling. I'm sorry. Wow. I want you to remember this face here, OK, this is the guy behind the guy behind the giy." - Trent
We can't instant replay our friends, we can't go in there and challenge every word they say. But, we can offer some good ole' constructive criticism when they are a little off base. We can seek their approval by simply asking for a little feedback for ourselves.
So my readers... do you mind offering a little feedback? Comment today, tell me your thoughts. Am I interesting to you? What would you like to see me talk about next? Is my competition for your time on this blog valuable? Am I right on the money?
