Title
One Movie Line At A Time
Bio
Growing up loving movies, and quoting infamous lines, N. Jordan is about taking life's given competition and embracing it through movies quotes. Each posting reflects a personal understanding on how movies effect people, our lives and our fake realities. If life is a movie, why do we compete in so many ways? Sports, love, relationships, family, business, money, career, kids, etc. Its time to see who is keeping score. Because... life is sometimes an altered reality, just go at it one movie line at a time. My real name is Michelle Keifer. But, I've always wanted to talk about life through a guy's perspective. Just seemed so fitting as I've always been just one of the boys. Go New England Patriots!

#56 “I find your lack of faith disturbing.” Darth Vader - Star Wars 1977

Rate: 0 Flag

star-wars-posterWhat is the underlined goal of believing in something? Do we believe in ourselves? Do we believe in our surroundings? If faith in one, or another, is so prevalent, why do we tend to put all our eggs in one basket? Why do we compete our choices? When life hands us competition, we must figure out what we are competing for first. If someone sees your lack of confidence in faith or circumstance, it could be a weak position to the competitor. It could show retraction.

"Your eyes can deceive you; don't trust them." - Obi-Wan

If looking through life with our own eyes is about seeing the greater in people, why are some people hard to look at? Do we judge the book by the cover? Do we judge the circumstance by the surrounding? As we realize that our confidence in one another is sliding, we often at times understand that perseverance is excelling.  If we push the gas peddle, we accelerate, if we press the brakes, we stop.

Are you moving too fast for others? Are you waiting for someone to catch up?

In each role we play, we must find out why we are playing, and who we are playing. I can't imagine not wanting to compete for something, but, I'm sure that some of us just can't compete. What defines a person's faith in competition... who defines a person's faith in living? If we don't stop and look around at what we have; we might miss the boat on who've we lost.

Failure isn't always about losing; its a choice in failing.

Who has failed you? Have you failed someone? What would it take to prove your faith in them once again? I recall knowing that letting someone down is just as common as letting someone into your life. We are selective in nature; we are selective in choices; we can't just give in unless we feel threatened. Is the truth threatening? Is the response worse? I may want to know the truth, but, do I need to have faith in the response? If I have in the recourse, will it hinder the consequence?

If we could work with consequence; we can work with action. Depending on who is going to save us from the force of choice, might be why we compete others.  Can you save yourself, can you find faith in others?
