"You know that feeling where everything feels right? Where you don't have to worry about tomorrow or yesterday, where you feel safe and know you're doing the best you can?"- Akeelah
Akeelah and the Bee 2006

Whether we spell to excel, or we write to exert; we are capable of becoming someone we might not recognize in the mirror. But, we are capable of reaching someones expectations; we just have to aim high.
I heard the funniest thing today. My sales manager said.. "its like a blind squirrel finding a nut". I think he was the nut; honestly. However, in all seriousness; direction is about taking the lead. I think he meant to talk about leaders, and finding that needle in a haystack sort of epiphany. If direction is using your resources wisely and capsizing on the strength of individuals to make enough nuts for the squirrel to find; what happens to the squirrel that has their vision? If we are all blind squirrels looking for a nut; has it become a survival of the fittest type of enviornment?
If the score is one for me, and one for you; how do we win each others high protocol standard when we are competiting for the same outcome?
When we think about euphemisms; we literally are just characterizing an expressive term with less of a harsh interpretation. Sometimes words are worse than expressions. Sometimes emotions speak louder than words. If we think about why we seek interpersonal relationships with those that don't want the same interpersonal connection; do we walk away when we know its not going anywhere?
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure." - Akeelah
I like to think of competitive interaction as our deepest fear. We as humans hate to lose. Some of us are prone to rejection and its just become a daily ritual. However, some of us are used to always winning, that when we initially fail; we are not only losing our perception of oneself; we are risking the credibility from another.
I tend to question authority; I tend to speak in euphemisms. Am I steering away from the unknown competition of someones chanced perception?
Am I afraid someone might find out my true intentions?
We must ask ourselves to spell out our thoughts; we must ask others to spell out and define the relationship; because when we don't, we might juxtapose the letters and the word becomes as blind as the squirrel looking for a nut. The nut then becomes the inevitable resource of the actual win. Can you spell competition? Well... if not, its written all over your face. Just look in the mirror; you compete that reflection everyday.
