Ron Paul, probably the only true conservative left in the Republican party, has publicly said Cheney should put a sock in his criticism of the Obama’s efforts in the war on terror.
"I think he had his eight years, and he's caused a lot of trouble for our country and perpetuated a war in Iraq unnecessary and wrong-headed," said Paul. "I would say it would be best he not be so critical right now."
Gee, ya think?
Politically I disagree with just about everything Paul says (except his anti-Iraqi war stance), but I have to give the man a big old “Atta Boy” on this one. Just don’t any invites to hunting parties with ol’ Dick, Ronnie, OK?
Side note: I think I’ll start a betting pool on how long it takes for the Republicans to run Ron Paul out of the party. Paul obviously isn’t going to toe the party line, and we all know how Republicans feel about that!

And I can at least tell my libertarian teabag friends that I agree with one of their heroes about Some Thing!
Shiral: LOL! That would be awesome! "Here Dick, put this target on your back..."
Jeff: I’m not sure who is scarier, Karl Rove or Dick Cheney. I wouldn’t tell Dick to go shoot something, we know what happened last time he did….
John: Yes I think there has been a deliberate attempt to swift-boat the War on Terror. I’m glad to know that there are some who are not falling for it this time.
ConnieMack: Yes you can tell your friends that you agree with one of their heroes! Hee!
Thanks for all the comments!
