i love where you're going with this. and that it hooked me to watch and keep waiting and wondering and *thinking*. great, great art. you are a wonder, duane.
Hey Duane, I'm wondering where you're going with this. Not that in some way it isn't self-evident. Come to my blog called What Do You Sell and put your name down, will you? I want to make a post that highlights OSers art, so people can buy it for Christmas or whatever holiday they celebrate. Or send me a PM detailing where people can buy your stuff or commission you to do something for them. Like maybe you could take photographs of people's kids/families and make your famous pictures from them? I think they would make fabulous personalized gifts.
Change is the only constant: I am enjoying this experiment in on-line open-ended creativity...and I suspect this is merely the beginning of a whole new journey.
Dude. I was just thinking about your latest posts last night, and it occurred to me that you were creating a piece that was building on itself . . . I bow to your artistic genius.
AUTOBIOGRAPHY IN FIVE SHORT CHAPTERS by Portia Nelson I
I walk down the street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk I fall in. I am lost ... I am helpless. It isn't my fault. It takes me forever to find a way out.
II
I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I pretend I don't see it. I fall in again. I can't believe I am in the same place but, it isn't my fault. It still takes a long time to get out.
III
I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I see it is there. I still fall in ... it's a habit. my eyes are open I know where I am. It is my fault. I get out immediately.
IV
I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I walk around it.
Duaneart This progression is phenomenal Keep it going. I am loving it. The new avatar reminds me of V. Keeping with your theme? Rated for innovative and thought provoking.
I think a lot of people never see the hole so that's why they keep falling into it. Or they do see it, try jump over it and......... thud.
Me, I'm trying another street next time. With my luck, when I finally try another street, it will be construction season and they'll have moved the hole. lol

I typically don't like mysteries, but I will settle back in my seat, at the Theater of Duaneart...

I'm feeling like I hate my huge comment/poem here. It makes me feel like a heel. Please delete if you can.
I love your comment, j. The perfect little story told in 5 parts.

I'm off to find Oakridgeville.
I dunno if it's sheer brilliance or sheer lunacy, but my gut tells me it's a bit of both;)
But I do like people who kick out the walls.
And Cat, remember the danger of kicking out walls. Samson did it and ended up buried in the rubble.
