Wonderful job. The extra brow stokes...perfect touch. :D
Great painting and I like it a lot better than Robet Mitchum who is a bit of an odd selection to me but that's okay.
Wow... these men look amazing..
HUGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
Think of you and your son and hope things are getting better..
Every time I open your post, my "Wows!" get louder! This is so cool! I've noticed you use red quite a bit. Is it your favorite color? It's one of mine. :)
You have the amazing capacity to paint in such a way that the characters are even more vivid than they might be in life. As what's on the canvas is truer than true.
brilliant! in color, composition, and talent. thanks for continuing to share your work. :)
This is terrific. ~r
You have some real winners here even though they mostly played the dubious parts.
Robert Mitchum was always one of my favorite personalities. He was a cross-grain kind of guy. I like the elder one here best.
Each time I get the privilege to view one of your paintings I am inspired to try one of my own, but lately I have had to let yours speak as my hands are silenced for now. Wonderful.
bellissimo! from the maturing young cool man of Vera Cruz to the cynical Marlowe...the quintessial mythical american "male"
Quite simply - amazing.
Congrats on the EP, too.
I loved Robert Mitchum. Scared the crap out of me in "Night of the Hunter," not to mention "Cape Fear." Gotta love a guy who gets posted for pot in the 1940s.

Tg Within has it right ... the brows really catch your attention.
Fantastic! Now on to Robert Ryan and Richard Widmark, please.
I like your style, particularly the enlarged detail as exhibited in your banner. Well done!
