Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. Grew up on Long Island. Mom and dad retired from jobs in the Pennsylvania Railroad which had gone broke, built a house in North Central, Florida where dad grew up. I finished high school there, only had a year and a half to go and began college. Choosing between 2 year school and 4 year school proved difficult and I ended up on academic probation at the University of Florida after one term. Transferred to Santa Fe Community College, received an Associates degree in December of 1974. Traveled to many different places with a girl in 1975, Gaskins Farm in Tennesseee, Twin Oaks and Cuckoo (now defunct) in Virginia, Naropa Institute in Boulder, Colorado. Finally put on academic suspension by Florida in 1976. Sought the grace of a Guru for many years influenced by A.A. Bailey books. Met Gurumayi Chidvilasananda in 1992. Father died same year. Mother died, 2007. Sold my mother's home last summer, Sept. 2, 2009. Still unemployed, Nov. 9th, 2011. Last work, Dec. 1999, part-time job through financial aid as an office assistant. I delivered copy paper to offices on campus at Santa Fe College's NW Campus. I also answered phones and offered help to visitors to the Office of News and Journalism in the Administration Building.
