Decided I needed a watch, already bought the MP3 player and really glad I did.
The weather should be perfect - about 60 degrees, mild wind and overcast.

Day 106: Kansas Marathon: 2 days and counting
Walked 45 minutes
Day 105: Kansas Marathon: 3 days and counting
Still not nervous, anxious and ready.
60 minutes: Lunch hour walk
Day 104:Kansas Marathon: 4 days and counting
Wether it is good or bad I am only going to walk between now and the 18th of April. I don't want to hurt any part of my body therefore giving me an out for the marathon.
45 minutes: Walk
Day 103: Kansas Marathon: 5 days and counting
5 days till Sunday and the Kansas Marathon. I am nervous and excited about this challenge I am about to undertake. I feel very confident about doing it and finishing. Not to confident on the pacing issue.

Day 102: Morning PE
This morning I substitute taught for my daughters PE class and two grades abover her as well due to sick teachers.
We did a little bit of everything and they kept me running:
Dodge ball, ran laps, climbed rope, weights, speed drills, red rover, ring around the rosie and tennis.
Day 101: A 4 yr. olds birthday
Today we went and played sports all day long. My son loves Baseball, Soccer and Football..basically anything with a ball. So, we had his 4th party at the lake and played with balls all day long. Was a fun and very active day.

Day 100: Yeah 100 days
100 days in the journey.
I have to say I am surprised I have lasted this long. But now that I am here I would not change anything along the way andI am so glad running and walking or daily exercise in general is a part of my daily walk.
Day 99: A walk in the park
Took a walk in the park and around downtown Lawrence with the kids tonight.

Worked on the eliptical, weights and the encumbent bike.
120 minutes and then a very nice sauna.

Had a meeting in Wichita today so after it I hit the Waterfront trail area.

Day 95: Lunch Run
Today I ran on the Governor’s Mansion trail path. Was nice though felt like I was looking over my shoulder the whole time. New path, new area..weird noises abounded.
