"The Increase Diversity Bakesale"- University of California
September 27th, 2011

Add one cup of different views.

Add one cup of passion.

Add one cup of media.

Add one cup of vowed silence as they have been told not to speak.

Add one cup of craziness and pack it down firmly.

Add one cup of things that should not have been.

Add one cup of Harry Potter Magic.

Add another cup of Hogwart knowledge.

Add one cup of loud vocal words.

Add one cup of reality.

Add one cup of silent thoughts.

Add another cup of reality and shame.
Like the Affirmative Action Bill being passed they also forgot about the gays at this Republican bakesale.

To perfect the recipe of life we need smiles and positive actions.

We need knowledge from 'The Tree of Life' that will make this world a better place and not the negative issues being forced upon us now.

The world has become a place of hate and we must do something before it is too late.

To the government and the world:
Be conscious of your actions or the recipe for life will never succeed.
Today college Republicans were selling cupcakes and cookies priced according to the buyer's race to highlight opposition to a bill they believe would overturn the state's ban on affirmative action.
Please read my best friend Kevin Armys great post on todays bakesale.

BTW, I have been praying for you to come back and I hope things are less stressful for you now that you're home again. I know I can find you elsewhere but something about seeing you here just cheers me. The world seems a very cheerless place. I hope you stay. I love you.
He is my BFF..:)
Sarah: I will drop in once in awhile.. Today it was a challenge from kevin..:)

Cause i told them about the 60's and how WE did it. They thought it was funny.:)
HUGG nice to see you
My radar didn't catch your avatar first time around. Not too much diversity in the above crowd that I see. More publicity stunt than protest. Plus, the gag order caught on Kevin's video; "freedom of speech but not allowed to talk." Hope it's not coming to a university campus here anytime soon.
At least, for your walk, the sun was out. Sunny here today too. :)
Scarlett: They had a DIE IN hours later where 100's of student dressed in black laid down.. Very fashionable protesting
..:)
artydi: Kevins video is a must

Nice to 'sort of see' your lovely self here... : )
Always great to see you posting on here, Linda (and it's cool that you were in the video).
So what they should do is take the lowest common denominator and lower everything to the level of that category. That way every category would be the same and they would have equality. Right? They listed the number of enrolled of each category on one of those signs.
Now for something even less appropriate. My friend is Brazilian. She doesn't fit any of those categories not being hispanic or which ever is not listed as latino herself although her father was by birth Mexican. Oh and I also have this French girl that is a friend of mine and she is white.... so she doesn't fit any of the quotas except being white... which is what I am.
So since I am white and I am the same as everybody else that is white we need to weed more of me out to fit the quota. Let us use any tactic possible to do so, including slander....
wait. I guess I am getting personal at that point. I thought it would be good to spend taxpayers money in better ways that regulating quotas. I vote we fix the road so that people like me can equally access the store down the street and that I don't have too many potholes to ride over on my bike that might cause me to spill over and lose my oranges the way Bamber did in Sylvia Path's story.
Sorry, I was born on the wrong side of this one.
I also don't understand what a handgun has a practical use besides using it on a person. It is pretty clear. YOu can kill somebody with a screwdriver or a meatthermometer but you can't pound a nail in with a handgun, take a temperature, saw off the limb of a tree or screw in a screw.
I think their intention was clear.
