Just thinking: I post once a week unless something earth shattering happens and this was it. It just had to be plain and simple like the black turtleneck he wore.
Matt: I know.. I flipped out when I saw him
Scanner: Who knows what you are going to come upon..
Jon: thanks and hugs
Out on a Limb: yesterday I went to a "Wall Street" protest and took 137 pics.. this was one of them. The rest next week
Bleue:My fave thing to do now.. Thanks Cathy..:) Torman.. me too.. this old dog will miss him Cranky: yes it does.. who knew what was going to happen two hours after I shot this photo
Neat photo! This shot speaks volumes about how we have "progressed". Apple, et al will not be happy until each of us is fully tethered full-time. For a while it was all about innocuous devices growing ever smaller. Now it seems as though our "devices" are growing bigger, require 2 hands and must always be on conspicuous display. No thanks.
I was not an early convert, but I will admit, I am now applified sufficiently, having purchased at least 6 macs, ipods, iphones, and ipads. I may not put a ding in the universe, but those little dings in my wallet have created a better universe for me.
People are comparing Jobs to Edison. The latter suffers by comparison. A truely remarkable person who loved and lived by his word and the world changed...and continues to change because of him. Just check out what the social media is using to get their views heard and their governments changed.
Aside from being a genius, Jobs was a showman who was able to get people excited about Apple's products. Tim Cook's presentation of the new iPhone is a strong reminder of why Jobs will be missed on another level.
lezlie: I was with kevin and we took pictures and video of the occupy wall street march. I am a straggler..walk slow so I got some good shots.. the camera is glued to me now hahah.. Tons more of the march on Tuesday
I have no problem with technology, but it drives me insane when I see kids focussed on their toys at the table while dining with their families. I've seen it a few times in restaurants.
His death not only makes me sad but worried. I remember when he was forced out of Apple the first time. It was run for a while by ordinary suits and it damned near went under because none of them got that it wasn't an ordinary corporation, it was about a combination of the cool factor and user friendliness.

He did. He did.
RIP Mr. Jobs, you were much too young to go, we're grateful you were here.
