Gee, you're kind of pessimistic about the death thing.
there is something so astonishingly wonderful in what can be conveyed in fewer words than this comment
succinct and true, brava!
Aren't we all?

Here is a toast..To the In between!
Yes, to the in between! Skoal!
so much can happen in the spaces in between; and it usually does.
I like the in and out, and the in between... all that.
the in between in the best part!
ice cream sandwich.
Dave Mathews wrote a song about the spaces. The space between.
Was "The Gap" named for this in between?
Start, middle, and end, I found myself going with the same theme. Well conceived and executed, brava.
I like this - your placement of the word 'surely' seems to actually cast doubt on the sentiment. It makes you sound strong and vulnerable at the same time - which seems pretty appropros. Well done.
I can relate. But you left out taxes.
The in between, so much to work with there...
Emma, you have said it all. Ii really is just that.
There is, of course, a modicum of vague temporal imprecision in the second sentence. The universe has a predicted life of a mere few more billion years. I could only wish the deaths of you two should coincide, if that is satisfactory.
Yup. That's about it.
Me and you both. Great Post Emma!
Lots of in between please!
Emma,
So good to know that there is always more isn't it? Much love to you.
Thank God for the in between.
Working on the in between sure beats what comes after.....!
Dunno about that middle, Emma. You're pretty resilient. rated with best wishes
It's the journey that matters!
The in between is the hard part!
Well Ema that is about the best anyone could do with the format . You have summed up the human life span , cynically but then has the human race ever been given any reason not to be cynical and besides yours is optimistic compared to what Thomas Hobbes wrote in basically 3 words : nasty, brutish and short
Extend the in-between for as long as you can, and make it as fulfilling as you can.
I can relate. Rated.
I like the biblical twist with "surely".
Well done, Emma. As we all are...xox
Sums things up pretty good.
I have always prefered the word "Betwixt".
I'm very happy we are all part of the "in between"
A work in progress. And you have progressed pretty far already.
I'll have that too. Yum!
yup.

(said in my best yankee accent)
ahh brevity and wit!
the central problem of life
Yep, that just about covers it!
It's the in-between that makes the other two worth it
What Jan Sand said! Be sure to stick around for the real fun, Emma! "R"
