So Miss Alaska Caribou Barbie is quitting her job as governor of Alaska.
What could be happening with her? At the risk of being sued for libel, etc. by her lawyers who have warned people not to speculate, I am going to speculate here on her reasons for leaving.
Recently there have been a number of questions brought to light about Mrs. Palin improperly using state, election and other funds to shuttle her family all across this great country, put them up in ritzy hotels and clothe them in haute couture fashions. Maybe she spent just a little too much on her family and some prosecutors didn't take to kindly to it.
Palin's financial misfeasance dates back to the kerfuffles during the election over her $100,000 wardrobe furnished by such outfitters as Sachs, Nieman-Marcus and Bloomingdales, rather than, say, a Kohls or a Bergners.
I think she likes the nice things just a little too much.
There are also questions of under-the-table deals with big oil that got Alaskans their several-thousand-dollar-a-year tax credit. Just what did she have to do to get the oil companies that use the Alaskan Pipeline to hand out millions of dollars every year to Alaskan citizens?
And really, how good of a governer was she? I mean you had the whole scandal where she wrongfully fired a good, hard-working officer of the law because his actions upset a cousin of hers. What else was going on up there that we didn't here about?
And who passes up a choice of hospitals in Anchorage while in labor to be in the "comfort" of either their home or their home-town hospital? Seriously, the woman is daft in so many ways I can't even begin to write about.
So come on, lawyers of Sarah Palin, do your worst. I have speculated on her possible wrong-doings that might oust a person as governor, are you guys reall gonna do anything to little ol' me?
Or does she really think she has a chance at the Presidency? Is she really that crazy? I suppose the next couple of years will tell.
