You have to find some youtubes, Peter! These look interesting. I'm going to ask how people get those players that they're popping into their posts. I have one site, but it has to have 45 tunes for it to work.
Hey, Peter, it's "a woman". Name's Sharon, nice to meet you.
I appreciate the suggestions you gave me and your lists here are very interesting. Even Tooty Fruity Carmen Miranda! I'm adding some of these to my growing list.
Thanks! S
Your taste runs wild, which is a good thing. Too many people get locked into a type of music, and refuse to listen to anything else, thus the ignorance. I believe if people would listen to other types of music, we would not be "Knee-Deep" in this bullshit!!
Great Stuff~~Rated~~
Thanks for the comments. zuma, scanner, what are some of your favorite artists? I am always looking to expand my musical knowledge.
Peter, I don't use playlists much anymore; I download everything to my iPod and leave it on shuffle. But my favorite artists include Miles Davis, Fela Kuti, and Iggy Pop.
What a fascinating and eclectic list. I have to look up some of these songs now.
Brenner - I leave my iPod on shuffle for the most part too but I do like to occasionally challenge myself and make a mix CD from time to time. I use Sony SoundForge and although I cannot separate the tracks I can make some really great segues, and that is the one thing sorely missing from iTunes/iPod.
Thank you, Gwendolyn. If I only get one person to look up these songs/artists I consider my mission accomplished.
