That top image, shows a remarkable, graceful hand. Pat Weaver, with just a few strokes, captures essence.

These are a beautiful tribute to an OS beautiful soul.
These are wonderful! As you know, a parrot is a member of our family, and I love birds--including cluckers ;) Maybe I can get my fix by looking at these beauties, instead of getting a pet chicken, as I keep threatening to do!

I confess to being extremely distracted by your comments over on the left. Now I have to go look at all those posts to see what's up. I love that you never shy away from saying your piece. Yet you seem to maintain an equilibrium that keeps you from losing it even when I think you would be justified in doing so.

So thank you for all the Freaky fun* and for this and just for being you.

*that should intrigue anyone who hasn't discovered you-know-who yet;)
There's my freedom hens! Thanks, e.
The first and third are my favorites but I LURV them all, Ms. Priddy in more than surname.
I did stop by Mr. Galt's place and posted a comment and a link to your 3 French Hens. But I think he still needs to come up with a couple of turtle doves ;)
Beautiful! The first painting is so loose in style, the play of light is wonderful, and it captures "chicken" very completely. My favorite, though, is the third: It feels like some of the work of Franz Marc, late 19th/early 20th century German artist. For me, that is a huge compliment--I adore his work. I definitely swiped these from the Tubes!

I should credit more, but sometimes the thievery is so deep that I do not know from whence the images came....
An image, for me is not really enhanced by knowing who made it.

Sometimes, in fact, it is an unwelcome distraction.

An image that needs a name is not worth stealing from the tubes.
