Back again just to mention that the picture of Obama seems to be taken from his solitary and sorrowful walk around his grandmother's apartment block. There is no joy that is not dashed with pain in life.
It was him walking around in Hawaii, but I did not know from when although I tried to find out.
It showed him in flipflops walking around like a normal guy. Something that I needed to energize my desire to try and help him win.
I had perceived him as being aunemotional, and dispassionate. But after seeing this, I made the connection that he is essentially Hawaiian and that compared to the attitude generally pervading Island life, (I live in a coastal village) he is a real firebrand.
It made me like him better.
I am wicked evil with the photoshop if I don't like you and similarly good if I do! I had a little help with this one to get it done in a hurry, but the concept is mine.
I also learned a LOT about photoshop getting it done.

"Obama Revolution" Lyrics
You say Obama revolution Well, you know We all want to change the world You tell me you are the solution Well, you know We all want to change the world But when you're talking more destruction Don't you know that you can count us out Don't you know it's gonna be all right all right, all right
McCain claims he is the solution Well, you know We'd all love to see your plan You ask me for a contribution Well, you know You'd better ask your wife instead But when you want money for people with minds that hate All I can tell is brother you have to wait Don't you know it's gonna be all right all right, all right Ah
ah, ah, ah, ah, ah...
You say you'll change the constitution Well, you know We must repair it first instead You tell me it's the institution Well, you know You've been a part of it , it's dead But if you go carrying pictures of forty-three You ain't going to make it to where you want to be Don't you know it's gonna be all right all right, all right all right, all right, all right all right, all right, all right
(No, I do not for one second think either the Beatles or Obama ever will be... jeez, maybe I shouldn't post this. "Obama thinks he's more popular than Jesus! Let's show him!!!")
e, This is a great idea and an entirely too clever photoshop piece. Huge props to you for both.
My humble offering: “Now there is a way to get back homeward” (re: “Once there was a way to get back homeward” ... doggerel I know but hey, I was always a Stones fan).
Respectfully, ePriddy: I don't understand this at all. Obama LEADING the Beatles? Can't Obama stand on his own? It seems like every great person/s that ever was has to have Obama in some way attached to them. Just how special can one person be?
Great job on the PS Elizabeth! Love it, well done.
I have to think a bit more about a caption.
Although, I'm surprised that even in this fun post that there is a harping on Obama, viewing him through a lens of great antipathy instead of just enjoying this fun post the way it was intended. "I don't understand" indeed.
Well, I guess I'm a little more cynical than the rest, so I'll be the outside-the-box guy, here. I think it's a good PhotoShop job, but I don't see the comparison, myself. Obama, in my opinion, is not on a par with the Beatles, and certainly not with John Lennon. So, my idea for a caption here might be "Sacrilege", or perhaps on a slightly more generous note, "Dream On".
The reason that Obama is "so special" and why this photo works so well is that it taps the hopefulness we have not felt since the 60s, since the Kennedy brothers. Obama is transformational.
I vote for Donna's pick of "Here comes the sun", altho I really loved Greg's new lyrics for revolution very very much!
Awww thank you Steph. The "43" reference instead of Bush isn't a great fit. But I typed it verbatim on the fly from my anxiety riddled, un-rested brain. :-)
The Beatles said, "And in the end, the love you take is equal to the loooove you make."
Can you please tell me how that differs form this saying which as you know, Mr. Biden, is from Karl Marx: "From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs."
A shout out to my husband on the photoshop. I learned about a lot of selection tools and the extract tool to do this.
Next go round I will be able to do it without assistance. I had the idea to take a picture of McCain and Bush and only change it by switching their heads or maybe just their brain areas and see it anyone notices.

I love it though!
I will follow. Shit. Sorry. U2.
Got it.
Why Don't We Do It In The Road!
Good to see...

I hesitate to add to the several perfect captions already submitted..but how about:
"All We Are Saying Is Give 'Smart' A Chance.
So, going outside the box, I offer two:
"I Will Follow Him"
"The Leader of the Pack"
"Pete Best, Eat Your Heart Out"
I can't top "Here comes the sun."
Imagine Change
"The Long and Winding Road."

this at all. Obama LEADING the Beatles?
Can't Obama stand on his own?
It seems like every great person/s
that ever was has to have Obama
in some way attached to them.
Just how special can one person be?
The road on the right had to be widened.
And I think he is a rather forward thinking man, and so in this instance, for once, he fits right in.
Obama-Biden '08! Yes We Can & Yes We Will!! Go vote! Make history!!
I have to think a bit more about a caption.

I did give it the thumbs-up, though... ;-)

But I decided it was too subtle.
