Oh I like this very much. The colors, the textures, the words...all of it.
Where's O'Kathryn? She'll love this!
A beautiful photo, Eliza! I love the composition. And the texture and the near-monochrome (but not quite) look of it.
He looks like he's basking in its glow....
is that you reflected in the ball taking the photo? this is very nice.
Yes, that is me!

He came to visit the day I had all the pots out on the porch getting ready for a show. I was testing marbles that I use for some of their knobs.
Anoles, those funny-named lizards I love! That's a pretty female, I think. And, as bahHMblog noted, a nice ePriddy self-portrait, too! Wowee!!
Wow. Cool pic...how did you get that anole to pose for you?
A cool day plus sun warmed pots make for a content lizard.
Brilliant Haiku. There is an awful lot being said in those few words of wisdom. Just don't let my cat see the lizard.
Great picture! My mother used to mail those little lizards from Fla. to RI. Needless to say, they weren't in the best shape when my little girls would open Gramma's letter. Rated for true views for all!
You must have some magical mystery way about you to get these
photos. Wow. Not to mention the haiku. Which was "................"
(that's my attempt at a Buddhist comment)
Indeed, where is my o'sister. She would adore this!!
Hope at some point she will do an all lizard post. She has some dandies.
Perfect complementary shades: the orange-ish of the lizard with the slate blue of the pot.

Your haiku reminds me of one of my favourite sayings of my dear departed Dad: There are 2 sides to every story... and then, there is the truth.
I really like this; it speaks to me, and I can't even explain why.
;-)
holy cow, E, I loooooove that pic!!!!! and, I'm no haiku girl, but that's awesome too!
Isn't that a chameleon? Isn't he supposed to turn blue (whatever he's on)? Beautiful no matter what. And the poem as well. Thanks as always!
They do always change colors, but I think the orangy ball confused him (or her) that day.
oh this is wonderful. reminds me of beatrice wood's famous lustre glaze. have two of her pieces that are worth nothing now becus she was so prolific but i treasure them. the lizard rocks
This is really way seriously cool!
These are so fun! I read a bunch, bit this is my favorite.

Thanks for pointing me here...
Even better than the first!
