Gdf (not to be confused with pdf, GPS or SWF) instructs me to contact her “not at site because of chance.” Hmm, what does she mean by “chance”? Chance, as in fate or fortune? Will I receive a great fortune if I contact her in “email in box above”? Oh, what to do! And what does she mean by “private speech”? Perhaps she is an orator and wants to recite the Gettysburg Address for me. Who knows . . .
Her final line gives me hope: “God bless you.” Her entire message reminds me of the famed Judy Blume book from my childhood, “Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret.” The title character, twelve-year-old Margaret Simon, grapples with pre-teen issues like her period, how to use a sanitary napkin belt (this was 1970), buying her first bra, liking boys, voicing her opinion, and religion: her mother is Christian and her father is Jewish. Off on a tangent here, not sure where this is going. Perhaps it’s the issue of tolerance. I’m in a “mixed” marriage myself (my husband is Jewish and I'm a lapsed Catholic). Perhaps I just want us all to get along, being a Libra with those damned scales trying to keep me in balance.
I think the crux of gdf’s message is All You Need Is Love.
