Ezili Dantò is an award winning playwright, a performance poet, author and human rights attorney. She was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and raised in the USA. She holds a BA from Boston College, a JD from the University of Connecticut School of law. She is a human rights lawyer, cultural and political activist and the founder and president of the Ezili’s Haitian Lawyers Leadership Network (HLLN). She runs the Haitian Perspectives on-line journal and the Ezili Dantò Newsletter. Ezili’s HLLN is the recognized leading and most trustworthy international voice in Haiti advocacy, human rights work, Haiti news and Haiti news analysis. HLLN’s work is central to those concerned with the welfare of the people of Haiti, Haiti capacity building, sovereignty, institutionalization of the rule of law, and justice and peace without occupation or militarization. Ezili Dantò is also an educator who specializes in teaching about the light and beauty of Haitian culture; the Symbolic and Archetypal Nature of Haitian Vodun; the illegality and immorality of forcing neoliberal policies on Haiti and the developing world... Since the UN-imported cholera outbreak on October 2010, Ezili' HLLN has insisted that environmental clean-up, clean water and sanitation are the only permanent solution to stop the UN cholera spread. Haiti elections complete disaster, fraud rampant everywhere, but the arrogance of power of the UN/US/OAS continues, is even more glaring...

Despite the request for cancellation of the vote by most of the presidential candidates, the UN/US/OAS, with their puppet government say they will persists with this election farce and announce results on Dec. 7. The $29.6 million spent on wasteful elections could have been spent on water treatment plant, sanitation treatment plant to help save Haitian lives, stop the cholera public health crisis.

The reporter in Haiti gets done with his report showing the election in Haiti to be some kind of macabre circus and undaunted the anchor woman asks him when will we see the results. Did you see the look on his face? It is the same look I have on mine!

It's unbelievable Jack. Despite all this open fraud, the OAS, UN and US says the sham will proceed and the vote will COUNT!!!

$29.6 million spent on this massive fraud!?!?!? Are you kidding Me?! If people don't know where to vote and thousands have been dying from an IMPORTED epidemic, then there should not have been an election in the first place! These people really think we're dumb. But it doesn't matter whether elections were rushed, fairly done, nor whether they delayed it for another time; it would have been the SAME results, cause the puppeters already picked out who they want. And I bet if elections were indeed delayed, a sudden "natural calamity", "violent outbreak", or IMPORTED something would have popped out of nowhere, like what always occur whenever a major event is to take place. What these people fail to understand is that they can only suppress the voices, omit the truth and kill off the populations for so long. Whatever is done in the dark will always come to light.

Hello Ezili: What doesn't surprise me at all, are the positions taken (with obvious predisposition) by the UN/US/OAS. What disturbs me, living as I do in the region (and married to a trinidadian) is the conclusion (?) reached by Colin Granderson on behalf of CARICOM countries. His statement/s evidencing a woeful lack of support in terms of regional solidarity, particularly in view of the leading independence role of invaluable historical and essential current significance, played by Haiti.

Bob Marley paraphrased~ "if you don't know your history, you don't know where you're coming from~or going to..." Do you think Mr. Granderson has ever read Aimé Césaire or even heard of Dr. Eric Williams?
