Well, it’s election time again and guess what: as the sky falls we voters have the ‘free choice’ of deciding which pre-selected hypocrite with the shoe-polish dye job we want to be the most powerful person on our toxic, rotting, choking, planet.
Demonstrating the epitome of what it means to be disingenuous about one's advantages. Anita Perry tells us (and here is the place we’re you are supposed vomit) that ‘We know pain of unemployed because our banker son quit his job .’ No shit. You can make this up.I roared! Yes, Anita Perry feels your pain. “My son had to resign his job because of federal regulations that Washington has put on us,” said the “put on” Mrs. Perry while campaigning for her husband in South Carolina, after a voter shared the story of ‘losing’ his job. Her poor son! He to is a victim you see. "He has a wife… he's trying to start a business. So I can empathize." Yes, she feels your pain America. And she knows who’s to blame. It’s all the fault of that cursed Lamanite in the White House. It’s Barack Obama’s fault you see. "My son lost his job because of this administration."
Oh, and one more thing, her poor “brutalized” but loudly applauded Christian executioner husband (you can vomit here too) is falling in the polls because “he loves God too” much you see. They are both being “brutalized ... because of his faith.”After all, it’s best for humanity if the most powerful man in the world is a member of a cult-like religion whose members, as author Jon Krakauer tells us, are capable of fighting back with tremendous violence where their beliefs are challenged or their patriarchal cult-like order is defied. After all, who wouldn’t want the most powerful man in the world to inform his public policy via the ‘deeply held religious conviction’ that Jesus will return to set up his kingdom in a suburb of Nebraska Under the Banner of Heaven ?
Actually their privileged son, Griffin Perry, had at job a Deutsche Bank before he had to quit in order to work on his father’s presidential campaign. One must wonder if this poor woman suffers from some dis-associative disorder. While she failed to state what SEC regulations she means, she was probably referring to the fact that last year the SEC adopted a new rule aimed at limiting political activity on the part of investment advisors. Certainly sound public policy as we learn more and more each day how rotted to the core is this debauched marriage made in hell (or perhaps Ménage à trois is a more apt phrase) between Church, State and the Corporate 1%.The sub-text reason is because her son is now voluntarily jobless is because this accursed Lamanite administration set in place these horrid regulations to prevent our financial and political system from further rotting as it’s already tainted core. The real he had to resign was because of laws against corruption and legal conflicts of interest for, as she had to admit, “He resigned his job two weeks ago because he can’t go out and campaign with his father because of SEC regulations.” But let’s not bother with the legal niceties the rules set out be the Securities and exchange Commission when we can pander to the all-American God Strategy. What’s God got to do with it. Hey, this is America. “Wall”? What wall? I hear a lot of flying hyperbole but I don’t see any wall.
Don't like Dracula? Try Frankenstein. Can anyone really wonder why Mormonism makes Herman Cain’s skin crawl? According to Joseph Smith’s racist hate driven bigoted dogma ‘Negroes’ are cursed with a skin of blackness because they are the descendants of Cain. Indeed, Brigham Young himself said, 'No person having the least particle of negro blood can hold the priesthood'. Mark E. Petersen (a Mormon ‘apostle’) addressed the issue of race and Priesthood in his address to a 1954 Convention of Teachers of Religion at the College Level at Brigham Young University.
The reason that one would lose his blessings by marrying a negro is due to the restriction placed upon them. 'No person having the least particle of negro blood can hold the priesthood' (Brigham Young). It does not matter if they are one-sixth negro or one-hundred and sixth, the curse of no Priesthood is the same. If an individual who is entitled to the priesthood marries a negro, the Lord has decreed that only spirits who are not eligible for the priesthood will come to that marriage as children. To intermarry with a negro is to forfeit a 'nation of priesthood holders'..The infamous and very American ‘One-drop’ rule.
Of course such odious beliefs are always ‘officially’ discarded where the political expedience of The God Strategy mandates the requisite hypocrisy necessary to bamboozle she bleating sheep who slouch towards an American Theocracy. And Native Americans, according to Joseph Smith and his translation of the golden plates (which, oops, sorry, conveniently disappeared after translation of course) are part of the lost tribe of Israel that migrated to the Americas many hundreds of years ago. No shit, I kid you not. At first they a flourished by building an advanced civilization; but then the branch called the Lamanites, killed their righteous relatives, the Nephites. For this and their rejection of Christ's teachings, God cursed the Lamanites with dark skin and a degraded existence. The dogma proclaimed they would not regain white skin and a civilized ways life until they accepted Christ's teachings. (See Mormons and Native Americans: A Historical Overview. and Black people and early Mormonism.)
Fuck The Fairness Doctrine. The Tea Party now tops the list of the most disliked faction in America. For decades, in poll after skewed poll, atheists have been the most hated group in religious America. Until now that is. An April 2010, a New York Times/CBS News survey found that 18 percent of Americans had an unfavorable opinion of the Tea Party, a few months later the same polls showed 21 percent had a favorable opinion. Fourteen months later Tea Party opponents more than doubled to 40 percent. In data collected by these same watchdogs the Christian fundamentalist financed Tea Party now ranks lower than any of the 23 other groups and it is now less popular than much maligned groups like atheists and Muslims! But again, given the state of journalism (the more pc euphemism for bald propaganda) and the corporate owned media whodathunkit?! It took almost a month and a national presence for before the corporate owned media even dignified the Occupy Wall Street movement with so much as a mention. But rest assured, if the now almost universally despised Tea Party movement occupied Wall Street for one lunch hour the corporate media would be all over it like flies to shit. But this insidious faction (our founding fathers’ most dreaded fear) sufficiently owns the media such that they can cram their despicable propaganda down America's throat 24/7. It's time to take America back from this despised theocratic oligarchy. How very telling it is that smary politician after smarmy politician marches their preachers into the public square proclaiming their religiosity and Christian values but the moment one questions what they actually believe they (like all hypocrites sneaking through life pretending to believe what they don’t) have the temerity to cry foul that others are making an irrelevant issue of their religion. How dare the voters question any politician’s deadly doctrines or holy hatreds as they ask us to soar in the wings of illusion.
Please, lets not single out the Christian fundamentalists liar and faith-based tax scammer Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), or the infamous quitter and phoney ‘cocain snorting’, ‘cheater’ and so-called Christian fundamentalist Sarah Palin, nor the Mormon Republican Texas Gov. Rick Perry, or the Mormon former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. As one retired attorney so astutely pointed out to all those standing in the Kool-Aid line as Barack Obama marched his own crackpot preacher into the public square to participate the sheep herding God Strategy
“... when politicians ostentatiously proclaim their "deep faith" and march their preachers into the public square promulgating religion as their sole excuse for denying civil rights, then we should, in the spirit of Voltaire, have but one response: Ecrasez l'infame!Spot on!
When any politician, left or right, reaches for world power and panders to religiosity by proclaiming their deep faith and religious values as special qualification for public office then, unless we fools or dumb sheep being led to a fleecing, the voters not only have the right but the duty to ask them exactly what they believe and demand unequivocal answers. Where any politician panders to religious values as their distinguishing qualification, they alone have placed their religious beliefs at issue and we all have a right to ask them if they actually believe the world is in a mess simply because a talking serpent climbed out of a tree (remember, it had legs before it devolved to crawling away on it’s belly) and coaxed a silly, bored, vain woman to bite into an apple. We have a right to ask them if they actually believe that an unwed teenager was raped and impregnated by a phantom for the sole purpose that her unfortunate offspring be subjected to bloody torture and public execution as a human sacrifice just to forgive us our sins-- which we have clearly not abjured. We have a right to know if they believe it is anything but psychotic for a starved and delusional prophet to curse a fig tree into withered sterility simply because it did not bear fruit out of season as nature intended. When they make an issue of their religious values we have every right to know if they actually believe such twaddle or subscribe to such intellectual rubbish.Don’t you think that when would-be leaders of the ‘free world,” those who ask to be entrusted with the must diabolical weaponry Beelzebub could conjure, those with the power to chain us all to a government Of the 1%, by the 1%, for the 1% , proclaim their religious values as their special qualification for public office and public trust, that we have the right to know exactly what they believe to be true in fact?
America’s social contract contains the Article VI, paragraph 3, Constitutional rule that “no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.” It’s a sound rule that we all know has long-since been reduced to a vapid cliche. It is axiomatic that no law is absolute especially where it is waived by those who would transform our shield into their sword. When we have abjured the wisdom of our founding father’s and reduced Enlightenment to balderdash in the name of ‘religious freedom’ and further peddle such claptrap under the vapid pretext of tolerance, then we have betrayed ourselves. No political candidate who has the audacity to stand on deeply held religious beliefs as their special qualification for public office or public trust can avail themselves of Article VI, paragraph 3, protection. As with all such laws there is an implied exception to the rule: except where you have waived it by yourself putting your religious test at issue. Sorry, those who seek equity must do equity and not come to court with unclean hands. As Christopher Hitchens once shouted, "Mr. Jefferson—build up that wall!"
