Hey. Look at all these lovely faces on a sunny SoCal Saturday. Mot and I are sitting in the railway station (not really -it's the airport, but I love that line from the paul Simon tune), waiting for the boarding call, after practically having to take off everything but our socks at the security check. I swear to god, san diego TSA is the worst. They even tested my contact juice. This city will pay for centuries because we rented apartments to all those maniacs who were the muscle on sept 11. Serves us right, I guess.

I'm smiling at all your comments and wishing we could Skype and sing and dance to some tunes today. It's a musical weekend, somehow.

One son is waiting to show us around Seattle and take his dad to some airplane museum. I'm going to see Chihuly glass. Short trip, just long enough for a couple hugs, fresh fish, and some welcome green and rain. I'll be checking in to be sure you're all still having fun. xo

So glad I found this, Candace. Joline has been in my head a lot lately for deeply personal reasons, but it takes on an even deeper significance when it's shared with someone else who also feels it, for whatever reason. The Wreckers make this a great set of bookends. R
