i'll try to post a weekly recap of the short subjects and sometimes a longer essay from my Adobe Soup site now and then for those friends who have said it's easier for them to access it here. if you've already been to the site or commented on the posts there, please don't feel obligated to check in here - this is just for the convenience of some readers on OS.

thanks and have a terrific weekend.

Love ... how many ways to ...
Truly lovely ... all you've done ... so far.
Lovely gifts each and every piece.
Thinking of you as you begin such a dream as yours.
I left my comment on the tuna sandwich post. Yes, please hold the Miracle Whip, lord knows you can hold an audience.

By the way, I'm pleased to say I've been to Prescott, twice. Loved all the Ponderosa pines driving up the mountains past Strawberry and all those other cool towns. Had lunch at the hotel on the corner. Cooled off in whatever shade we could find.
hey, kids!

thanks, anna. i'm so glad you liked them.

cool is the goal, nick, yep. :)

thanks, scarlett. prescott is a pretty cool place, huh? i recall that you and i have also both been to jerome, a town in the same general part of the world. thanks for stopping by the adobe, girl.
I love that you are putting it here too. Your writing is sublime. ~r
Bookmarking these for a good read! thanks for this..
Your new website is a feast for the eyes. I want to be like Marge!
I Love the fishes. I love the Adobe soups. R and hugs.
Thanks, Joanie, Rita and zuma. Rock on, women. And miguela, I spent half my life trying to be like marge. She was amazing. :)
You make even the mundane and regular sound fresh and exotic. Respect.

My little green bird feet left their prints all over these posts, as you will see. What's up for today?
I loved this, Candace: "This was gut-punch sadness that curled your shoulders, bewilderment, an enormous hushed room, a sea of black wool coats glistening with raindrops and tears."

True that.
thanks, kathy. i liked that line too. it was quite a scene that day, in that hush.

greenie, the plan is to take the weekends off. well, not exactly off. i'll be working on pieces for next week and holding hands with mr. forte at the movies tomorrow. and maybe making a cheese sandwich, thanks to you.
Cool.... I didn't know you had started your own web page! It's one of the nice things about OS--people begin to venture out. That's how I started my foodsite: www.kitchenbounty.com I'm not getting about 1800 hits a month.
You are soooo creative!!
Is that kalhua in the glasses?? Looks yummy! I love the tuna fish!
