In high school she was a pretty little blonde with a hot rod car, a good student, a total rebel they called her. He was a bad boy with a motorcycle, which all the girls thought was so cool and he was so cute. All the girls wanted him but he wanted her. He chased and followed her for months going everywhere she hung out. Just wanting to be with her and to have her as his own. She wasn’t interested in him, only wanted to drag race her fast car, schoolwork, and hang out with friends, dating was the last thing on her mind.
After several attempts and rejections he finally got her to agree to a date to dinner and a movie. She thought why not give this persistent boy a chance. If she didn’t fun on the date and didn’t like him she could always tell him to go away that she wasn’t interested. He was so excited by the fact that she finally said yes to a date. He couldn’t wait until that night and would make sure she would have a fun date and want to date him seriously.
The two of them had a wonderful time on the date that night, neither one wanted it to end. She had to be home by 10pm, her dad already warned the boy that he would be still up waiting while he cleaned his gun (aren’t dad’s just so great?). He started to drive her home, he asked her out on another date and she agreed to one. He dropped her off and told her he would see her at school the next day.
She looked at him confused and said, “I wasn’t aware that you went to the same school. But hey that is cool I will see you there”.
He was so happy that the date went good enough for her to agree to see him again, but was disappointed with the fact she didn’t know he went to the same school, too him that was an insult.
They started to date seriously after the next date went good. Things were going so great in their relationship they were in separable; oh the incredible high school loves. He started to become obsessive and controlling; he couldn’t handle it when she wasn’t with him. She started to get irritated with him, because she still wanted to be herself. They went on a date one night and he wanted her to go all the way, when she refused he got aggressive. She started to fight and made a break for the door, she got out of the car. She told him not to contact her that she wasn’t going to put up with his shit any longer. She walked to a friend’s house, took all the yards and alleys so he wouldn't find her walking.
The rejection of his lost love was something he began to obsess about. He followed her everywhere she went, watched her house while he made sure he was out of sight. He was going to have her all to himself or die trying; she would be his and no one else’s. She went on with her life had fun with friends, studied hard in school, and raced her car, still was the rebel as if nothing was wrong.
Girls night out with a few friends to dinner and a movie, they all had a blast together laughed and giggled (oh the fun times as teens). They walked out of the Movie Theater and started to the car. He came up behind her grabbed her long hair and pulled her near him. Wrapped his strong arm around her neck while he placed a pistol to her forehead.
He told her “You are coming with me” while he yelled at her friends “stay back”. He pulled her backwards to a car that waited and threw her in the back seat he jumped in after her. Then he told his two friends in the front seat “drive fast”.
They drove out to an old barn that had been abandoned for years. It was the party place for teenagers. He pulled her out of the car and hits her in the back of the head with the butt of the pistol.
He yelled at her “you betrayed me”.
The hit to the head knocked her dizzy and light headed she almost fell down but she caught herself and stood tall.
She told him “You will pay dearly for what you have done”.
She tried to fight back but the other two boys grabbed her arms. While the other two boys had her held he threw the gun down on the floor and started to beat her with his fists. She struggled and got loose swung to hit him but she missed.
One of other boys grabbed a bat and hit her with it so hard that with the force she went flying across the barn room slammed down on to the floor. He grabbed the bat from his friend and beat her with it as he broke several bones in her tiny body. She lay there and tried hard to cover her self, curled up tight on the floor like fetus. He threw the ball bat down while his friends pulled her straight and held her down by her feet and hands.
He pulled out a knife and started to cut all her clothes off. She tried to struggle loose but could not over power the strength of the two boys that held her down.
He told her “You will be mine and only mine or die.”
She would have chosen death if she knew what was going to come next. He brutally took all her innocence. He broke both her pelvic bones with his hard thrusts. She went unconscious as she lay there bleeding on the cold dirty barn floor.
He was done now ready to leave, he yelled at his friends “Let’s get out of here before someone shows up”.
His friends pleaded with him not to leave her there, no one would find her and she could die. He didn’t care if she died or not. He had her to himself and that is what he wanted in the beginning. The other two boys talked him into at least taking her somewhere in town so someone would find her. The boys picked up all her shredded clothes and carried her limp body to the car. They dropped her in the trunk. They drove to town and dropped her off in an old alley they knew no one went into and they would not be seen.
She woke to the smell of strong body odor, urine and whiskey. She shook her head a little and tried to open her swollen eyes, to see where it was coming from. As she opens one eye she saw a man kneeled down in front of her. While he tried to wrap her up in an old ripped, stiff, stinky blanket. She wanted to move but couldn’t her body was limp and ached. After he got her wrapped up he picked her up in his arms.
He told her “Lay still little baby you will be okay we are going to get help for you.”
She opens her eyes looked at him she took a breath in and back out and whispered to him “Thank you. What is your name Sir.”
He told her “Name is Michael, Miss. Now quiet and save your breath”.
She looked down to the ground and saw he that wore scruffy military boots with holes that had one of his toes were sticking out of one boot, holes in the knees of his jeans. She looked back up at his scraggly face with a dirty long beard she broke a faint smile then she went unconscious again.
The man named Michael walked ten blocks while he carried the young girl’s limp bleeding body to the hospital emergency room. He walked in the door everyone looked at him with looks of shock and terror as the automatic doors opened and he walked in carrying a bundle with long blood stained blonde hair hanging over his arm. He walked over to a young security guard that stood by the front entrance. He looked down at the little girl wrapped in the blanket lifelessly.
He told the young security guard “I found her lying in the alley by Washington Street, you know the one were us homeless live. Some boys dropped her off there. Please take care of her she needs help she is bleeding badly and has lost lots of blood.”
The now shocked security guard reached out to the limp bundle in the man’s arms, asked the man “What is your name Sir? The police will need to talk to you for the report.”
The man said, “Name is Michael I live in the alley on Washington Street. They can come find me there.”
As the man walked back out doors to the street, the security guard turned and took the girl back through the Emergency room doors to get her help.
The next evening she comes conscious she opened her eyes to see her parents while they stood over her as they cried. She asks about the man who carried her to the hospital.
Her father said “The police are looking for him now to see if they can get a statement from him for evidence. Rest honey! You need your rest.” As he kisses on the cheek told her “I love you”.
A few minutes later two police officers enter the room and asked how she was doing. They told her parents that they needed to talk her to get statement.
Her father asked “Did you find the man who carried her to the hospital?”
They looked at him in a disappointed way yet with a stunned shock look on their faces. One of officer answered her father “Sir we have looked everywhere and have asked all the other homeless that live on Washington Street. No one has ever seen the man that the people in the waiting room last night and the security guard had described. They all told us that there has never been a man named Michael who lived there. Sir. We have even asked some of the people in town if they ever seen the man around town. We got the same answer Sir. We are still looking for him and we won’t stop.”
After two weeks in the hospital she is better now and got to go home. She puts it all behind her; she hides it deep inside her subconscious and prays that it never will resurface. Soon she started back to school got back to her rebel self again having fun with her friends, racing her car. She went on with her life as if nothing had ever happened to her.
The man named Michael who carried her to the hospital was never found.

You needed a guardian angel that day, dear.
He truly is her angel and saved her life. What a tragic story and so relieved she survived this horrific, brutal attack on her innocence and her body. Her will was amazingly strong and proves she is a survivor.
AshKW-Non fiction unfortunately. Yes a guardian angel was needed that day. Thank you
Kathy-Yes He was her angel and saved her life. She is indeed a survivor. He could have thought he might have been blamed for the injuries and that is why he disappeared as fast as he showed up. But then maybe he truly was an angel. One will never know but only question it. Thank you

In Christian beliefs:
"In the War of the Sons of Light Against the Sons of Darkness, Michael is described as the prince of light, leading forces of God against the darkness of evil...."
~~~~~~~~~~
Whereas via Judaism:
"It is said that Michael prevented Isaac from being sacrificed by his father by substituting a ram in his place, and saved Jacob, while yet in his mother's womb, from being killed by Samael (Midr. Abkir, in Yalḳ., Gen. 110). Later Michael prevented Laban from harming Jacob (Pirke R. El. xxxvi.). According to one source, it was Michael who wrestled with Jacob and who afterward blessed him (Targum pseudo-Jonathan to Genesis xxxii. 25; Pirke R. El. xxxvii.)."
And then, of course, there's John Travolta.
Some think Michael the Archangel is actually Jesus.
Oh Yes then is John Travolta-I love that movie.
Thank you very much
FE, you've got a lot of guts, not just for fighting back then and surviving, but for laying it out here for others to read. I wonder why you even talk to men. Please tell me those assholes paid for what they did. One way or another.
It wasn't an easy story to write by any means. I actually had hidden it very deep in my subconscious and it resurfaced a couple months ago. They were caught and charged with several charges and were sent to prison. Thank you very much.
Bubba- I do believe that there are guardian angels around us to help us with difficult and tasking situations to guide us and lend us a hand in our time of need. Sometimes they come to us and we don't see them but we feel them as a slight breeze brings chills down our backs, and there are times when they come to us in the form of a human to save us. I do believe there is a Michael out there for all of us. Thank you very much
Gender: Masculine
Usage: English, German, Czech, Biblical
Pronounced: MIE-kəl (English), MI-khah-el (German) [key]
From the Hebrew name מִיכָאֵל (Mikha'el) meaning "who is like God?". This is a rhetorical question, implying no person is like God. Saint Michael was one of the seven archangels in Hebrew tradition and the only one identified as an archangel in the Bible.
Anyone who intervenes at a time of dire emergency is acting as an angel, an agent of Heaven. Divine intervention rarely happens without a human being to act as the conduit...and with or without the human element it is still a miracle
I am so glad this 'Michael' found you. The violence you decribe is very brutal and takes my breath. I feel stunned by reading it.
Gee. I feel slightly numb from the reread. Gasp here.
I can almost feel the pain. Well written.
