Reach Out! Make a little boy's Christmas wish come true.

Rate: 19 Flag

Noah Biorkman is a 5yr old boy.

He is in his last stages of neuroblastoma cancer, after a 2 1/2 year battle.

His family is celebrating Christmas next week.

All he wants are Christmas cards.

Lets try and see how many we can get to him from all over the world.

Please.

His address is 1141 Fountain View Circle South Lyon MI 48178

I know it would put a smile on his face, make his Christmas wish come true.

Pease forward this post to all of your friends or send them this way. I think it would be so awesome to have him get Christmas cards from all over the world.  So lets try and make it happen.

Thank you very much for your help in making this little boys Christmas wish come true.

Thank you

This is so touching and heartbreaking, Thank you so much for sharing this!

Pawed and card in going in the mailbox!
A card is on the way from soon to be rainy California!
Damn, that poor kid. At two and a half these cards might help hte parents more than the kid. I will dig in the box and see what I've got. Thanks, FireGirl. I'm on it. Hugs, M
I checked it out on snopes and his story is for real. I wanted to be sure because there have been more than a few of these over the years that were not for one reason or another, one in particular the child survived and the continuing cards over the years had placed so much stress on the local post office that it became a curse not a blessing.

But the story of young Noah is sadly true. I'm going to send him a card tomorrow. Poor sweet boy. Cancer sucks.

Thanks FE, you have a good heart.
Apparently Ablonde and I are sharing the same brain tonight...
Yes, sad but true.
I know I have a stamp at home and a mailbox on the way back to work tomorrow...
Thank you everyone. Yes I checked out the story to and it is true.
Micheal the boy is 5 years old and has battling the cancer for 2 1/2 years. Thought I would clear that up for you.
My card is going in the mail box tomorrow..
Wonderful sentiment.
Thank you for posting this.
He's not going to live until the real Christmas? Damn.
Troth- Thank you for coming by.

Trig- Unfortunately no he won't be making it to the real Christmas. That is why they are having Christmas next week.
And all he wants for Christmas is Christmas card.
It is very sad.
:-( I hate Christmas and now, even more.
You have such a huge heart, FE. This is a wonderful idea. I will get my daughter to draw a picture and we will send a card tomorrow.
I cant believe this poor child is going to die at such a young age. I feel bad for him and his family . I will send a card today. wish i could help more. cancer sucks. I guess we are the lucky ones after all.
Thanks for the heads up, Fire. You do indeed, have a good heart!~
That is the cancer that took my son at 1 year 2 weeks. In tears many many tears but sending a card after work.
I'm going to give his name and address to my students - I'll even offer extra credit if they bring the card to me to mail.
Thank you everyone. I only hope we can get a bunch of cards sent his way. It is heart breaking and sad.
Lunchlady-so sorry to hear you lost your son from this. {{BIG HUGS}} to you.
Cominghome- That is an awesome idea... thank you

feed bump for the little boy and his Christmas cards
This is such a great idea. Thanks for helping us remember what Christmas is really supposed to be about.
The Wright Sight- Yes this is what Christmas is all about. Putting a smile on a little boys face for his last Christmas.. Thank you for coming by.. I hope we get many cards out.
And another bump for a small child
I also checked it out on Snopes (I should have just read the comments first). Card will be in the mail tomorrow! A heartbreaking story and I hope this provides strength to the parents as well; I can't even imagine their pain... Thanks, fe. You're a doll.
Thank you everyone!! Another bump for the little boy
that's a damn good reason to visit my sister that lives there.
maybe go to the park and paint.
her daughter is a melanoma patient.
He's worth more than a card.
rated and facebooked!
i'm sending a card today.
Thank you everyone for coming by and sending cards..
Bump for the little boy..
I received the following information in regards to the little boy. Thought I would post it here as a comment to let everyone know what the situation is now. They are asking for no more cards and gift to be sent....
Thank you everyone who sent them and has come by this post..

*******************************
he has a place on carepages.

his cards are now being sent to is fathers house in milford

check WDIV website.

they are begging people not to go the the house with gifts or vigals. no one can see him. he is being given moraphine and sleeps most of the time. Now is the time to let him go in peace rather than become a circus.

the local post office has recieved well over 80,000 cards and gifts. More than they process in a year.
You did a beautiful thing, fe. You touched his life and all of ours. Sometimes a reminder of the fragility of life isn't as necessary as the lesson of humanity. Thank you.
Outsidemyself- Thank you very much.. HUGS
Yipes! Shouldn't you be sleeping?!?!
;-)
Outside- Yes I should be sleeping. But I have been trying to get to bed since 7pm... Heading that way now.. hugs..
HUGS!! And Good Night have sweet dreams!!
The link below was sent to me by The Wright Sight. It is a video tape of the family and the little boy, showing all or most of the cards and gifts sent his way.
I had tears in my eyes the whole time watching it. Thought I would share it with everyone. Thank you for all your help.. And God Bless You All..
The Wright Sight Thank you so much for sending this video to me, it means a lot to me..
