Girl you are in a morbid mood lately listen to Bob up there change is coming and I would say the poems outstanding if I did not know you really felt that way its still outstanding anyway
Pensive moments heal many lonely days. The clapboard house, weathered and old The wooden porch with footprints of gold Contemplative thoughts in the ghostly haze
That metal roof in rain storms sang Beating cold windows, rain-drummed perfect tune As the rain falls within, clouds baffle the winter moon From within this house, my desires and hopes sprang
Screen door opens with a creek, slams with a bang Young child and muddy shoes make their way Into the kitchen, fresh hot cookies to grab on the way Through the house where my memories hang
Sometimes a glance of the past is all you need to keep your future bright.
I am a little late on the commenting. I have been kind of letting the comment thread run, letting everyone feel what they may, and take a way what they can. Thank you all very much for your thoughts. Nothing like "Going Home," even if only in the mind, that set the soul in the place where it needs to be.. Plus I have to admit I have enjoyed letting it the comment thread run, because it has given me a little opportunity to catch up on a few of my friends along the way.
Irish- Yes! It was time to go home... I think,... Thank you
Cynthia- Plaintive- Thank you for such a compliment. I have found that sometimes with videos, that if too many are watching it at once that it won't play. But if you come back later it will play for you. Just a little hint.. Thank you very much..,
Matt- Sometimes I think thatal what you might be feeling, someone else might also be feeling that same thing. But each one may have a different perspective and out look on it. "You put it so sweetly." Thank you very much for that compliment.. Thank you... HUGS

Thank you
you have to lose your life to gain it.
Meaning,
i guess: resurrection, of the personal variety
while you still have the warm embracing flesh
to enjoy it.
