To Live Again- After War

Rate: 7 Flag
Some say that the dead are the only ones to see the end of the war.
The ones who come home alive, only try the rest of their lives to figure out how they will ever learn to live... AGAIN!

Don't be afraid that life will end..
Be afraid it will never begin.

Is there any life left after a war?

If you haven't seen this movie, you must see it..
It had me bawling like a baby. Going back to watch it again.
Just had to share this with you all.

Ok, wait, the movie's title? The title of this post?

Rated for sounds interesting.
Oh, ok, Brothers, got it :).
ICV- I will check out the Danish version for sure. I have a friend that can get some great movies and different versions. I don't mind subtitles. I will also check out Susan Bier, I think I have heard the name. Thank you for the recommendations. And great to see you back around in my little world of OS. Thank you and Hugs to you.
Seer- The name of the movie is Brothers. I know I usually use the title of the movie for my inspiring messages with movies. Trick ya on this one.
Thank you !!! You have to watch this one..
HUGS ;)
Funny how dead on this war comment is.
I have seen it and it's great. War is hell is not strong enough words for what is happening to our troops!
The only philosopher who ever had to be silenced by a secret society Fredrick Nietzsche once asked the question: What is great in man? He answers his own question by rejecting the puerile answers that are the product of the debilitating effects of 2000 years of Christianity and he says War, the feeling that resistance is overcome.

U2 do you remember Carley Simon: ‘Your so Vain’?
Scanner- What it does to our troops is so horrible. One can not imagine the torment, destruction, within our troops, unless you have walked in the same shoes. They are dead inside and outside, doesn't matter if they are walking around or 6' under. War takes lives in all aspects of life that surrounds it.
Thank you
Jack- I believe Fredrick knew exactly what he was talking about.
U2- LOL!! Amazing how some people can ACT LIKE they have human compassion, but it is actually for their own benefits.
Thank you ...
Algis- I am so sorry that I missed your comment the last time I checked my post.
Yes it is so dead on.
Thank you very much.
Insanity is all around them. Unfortunately most of our veterans come back as human and still very much alive. They return to a society of the living dead who wish them to shut up and be dead inside like everyone else. Shut up and shop baby, and get some wrinkle cream and be brilliant and admired.

Those who cannot become the living dead find another way, drugs, suicide or they become a zombie and kill a zombie. As long as they don't tell us face to face they are still alive inside it's all good.

When will we ever look at the truth? Perhaps when it comes right to our own doorm, only time will tell. I'm not sure I want to see another one of these movies. Is it different than all the ones I saw after Vietnam? I'm old and crazy, I've grown to hate popcorn.
