I reach for the sun

like all the other creatures

but spring is not ready yet

 

Spring comes on its own timetable

not ours

and it tests our will, our moods, our stamina

 

The beauty of spring

is almost too much when it comes

to us unexpected yet anticipated

 

like all other good things.
