- Bio
- I suppose you could say I am just one who never was able to do all he wished he could do in a lifetime.
I could never be interested in just one thing, but all things.
I suppose it is these twilight years where the dawn is coming closer that I occasionally sit down and write a few of my thoughts. Some stay with me, never seen by others and some I post for the world to see.
They are varied subjects, for which my mind will focus on for that time.
So for now, allow me to indulge.

A Future Never to Be
From some of the responses to a couple of my posts I am reminded of the only young man to have died in Vietnam from my home town. It is not so much that I have forgotten him, but over the years he has faded into the background of so many… Read full post »
Good Buddy's last Ride
I have several friends who returned from Vietnam bitter, not just from the reception they had but they felt used by their government. Most saw combat and some had problems for years from that experience. “ Good Buddy” was one of those who returned from Vietnam and from combat. … Read full post »
There was no There, There
I viewed the Hardball Video with Tom Delay and found myself chuckling as I listened to the dribble and diatribe coming out of Tom. Nothing has made me feel more that all is coming around to the truly right side of life, which should not be confused with the Right side… Read full post »
My Accidental Career
I came about my career choice purely by accident, literally by accident. My plans for the future were laid out, I was to complete a master’s degree and teach collage history, so I thought.
I had borrowed my parents’ car so I could take my collage midterm exams. I… Read full post »
A Loss of a Brother
I wrote this back in January when we had high winds and snow which left us without power for nearly a week. It was published in a local paper but some felt it should be something that should be read by more.
For those of us who are or… Read full post »
Joe Six Pack
As I read the many commentaries from the Vice Presidential debates and what has happened since I can’t help but think that the term “Joe Six Pack” is being somewhat maligned by giving a stereotypical image of the working American male. One who is not posted a Degree on his wal… Read full post »
