Wow! The temps got up into the high 40’s today…which, in February, is like heaven for a golfer in New Jersey. There was no wind…and for the greater part of my round, the sun was out and it actually felt warm.
I relished the day…although my golf was not up to mid-summer speed. Yesterday I got a birdie and some pars…and today several pars, but my game needs some work.
After the round, I came home and tuned into OS.
Glad to see there were so many up-beat posts. There are times I feel almost guilty because I enjoy life so much…but I see people posting here with problems I can barely relate to. I can only hope things change for the better for them…and that they get a taste of some of the good stuff coming my way.
As for the disgruntled people, of whom there are plenty, well, what can I say? Sorry things are going so poorly that you have to rag on the Internet to feel better, but if it works—go for it.
For those few who seem to just want to rag for the sake of ragging…hey, go for it also. Watching your antics is amusing…and providing amusement for those watching your show is rather generous of you.
Life is good…life is great.
Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

No cognitive dissonance there!!!
It is not, it's terrible, it's miserable, it's rotten to the core and like my mother always told me, if you can't find anything bad to say then don't say anything at all.
Just kidding. Happy V-day to you too!
Looks like we are going to have another reasonably warm day in New Jersey today…and I am looking forward to another long walk chasing after the little white ball. If nothing else, it is needed exercise.
One of the guys in my foursome yesterday was adamant that the warm summer is the result of Global Warming. I am not so quick to jump to conclusions about that—and I truly hope it is not that. But it makes no sense not to take advantage of the decent weather to play.
Why not hit the links early and spare us some more of your drivel?
In any case, (although this is way off the topic) there are significant numbers of people here in New Jersey who champion an “equal marriage bill” and who hope desperately that we will soon be rid of Governor Christie who insists he will not do the right thing and sign legislation insuring that.
I am most assuredly one of that number!
The bill has already passed our Senate…I think the Assembly will take it up tomorrow…and passage by that house seems likely.
Hi Erica. Had to forego golf today. As you know, it was chilly...and there was a semi-mist, semi-rain all morning. Well, maybe tomorrow.
