Have you ever considered that the Wild West had the right solution?  Now I am not talking about the real Wild West.  I am talking about the one in the movies, the one where they arm everyone and all of sudden people are polite.

I mean really, if your car had a rotating machine gun turret, do you think that creep would have cut you off?  If you had grenades on your belt do you think that store clerk would brush you off?  The list is endless.  In the absence of true respect, fear will do. 

But the problem with all these conventional weapons is they violate the American's with Disabilities Act.  You see, each of these weapons requires a degree of skill and many people are essentially disabled when it comes to point and shoot or pull and throw.  The result would be an unfair distribution of power and benefits.  We can’t have that!

The answer of course is personal nukes.  If you can a throw a switch you’re in the game.  Sure, I know what you are thinking.  There would be an abuse problem.  You are right, but those people would soon have self-eliminated and the rest of us could get on with showing the utmost respect and fairness in all our dealings.
