I am truly thankful for Thanksgiving this year. I'll be so happy to have my kids here, and so very happy  to have my mom here. She'll be visiting for a couple of nights, away from her new senior community.

It's gorgeous, she has a private covered patio with a birdbath, flowers, towering trees. But she wants to check out of her "hotel" and rent a car to go back to her hometown.
