That comment was posted by Thoth on the blog of Sirenita Lake because she had the temerity to NOT kiss his ass in the manner he feels is his due. Not long after that time frame he learned to substitute his overt, revoltingly arrogant misogyny with an oleaginous fawning sort of *charm* which has apparently fooled a lot of people who either don't have very good memories or who missed the original incarnation of Thoth or who, perhaps, just don't care what a piece of shit he is because his transparent flattery "validates" them in one way or another.
Now, some might answer that I'm an asshole in my own right, and they'd be correct in doing so, but there's a critical difference between myself and Thoth; my OS persona is a fairly accurate representation of who I am and I've never tried to adjust that representation into something it's not, whereas Sam is a weasely little fuckstain who, once people began noticing what a prick he was, learned to hide his weaseliness belhind a facade of "This is a beautiful post, I found it very moving. Rated" comments.
So, anyway, blergh to this " I hope your birthday is as magical and exotic as you are" shit, blergh with a capital fucking G.

I was in a jolly mood, and, being ABSOLUTEY ignorant of any of the problems or attacks you have had in the past, wrote a light bit of banter…I was trying to poke fun at the idea of such a fine fellow & grand writer as you being a “dastardly evil” character. I find the idea uproariously idiotic, as I know you well.
(I keep myself consciously ignorant of a lot of unpleasantness by simply not reading nasty stuff. I learned this as a child of an alcoholic household. I also learned how to try to moderate. )
But ignorance is no excuse for me not coming to a buddy’s defense.
