The Future of Journalism Blog is getting a makeover. I've taken over as the name on the door because Katharine Mieszkowski has decided not to continue writing here as she pursues her own future in journalism. You can follow her on Twitter @kmieszkowski.

The FoJ Blog is a side project for me, not part of my actual job at Salon, so I'll be updating it as much as I can, but without a teammate the posts might not be as frequent as they have been. I'll miss Katharine around here, but I pledge to keep the quality of this blog at least 30 percent as high as it always has been.

Would Salon be open to having an OSer or two contribute an occasional post (with you or Kerry or someone else at Salon as editor)? Of course, being the editor might be twice the work of writing a post.
