Two Georgia police officers in Atlanta are being investigated for running a criminal background check on President Obama. Officers Ryan White and C.M. Route have been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation, according to DeKalb County spokeswoman Sheila Edwards. Edwards said the two patrol officers have been with the department for about two years.

Such behavior, said William Miller, DeKalb Public Safety director, is not to be tolerated. “As Public Safety Director for DeKalb County, I want everyone to know that we take these allegations very seriously,” he said in a statement. “We expect our officers to adhere to professional standards and departmental policy. Furthermore, we do not and will not condone the inappropriate use of county equipment or resources.”
Now what do you think these ‘good ole boys’ from Georgia were doing… possibly some racial profiling of our first African-American president? And who do you think they were going to report back to with their information?
I smell a 527 group behind this escapade! Are they getting scared that President Obama will succeed with his economic policies and bring change to all Americans with his HealthCare Plan? They only attack when they have no real solutions of their own.
Call your Congressman & US Senators today and press them to pass a bill that will halt this type of backdoor politics.

This kind of stuff gets more and more sickening every day.
Thanks, George, for talking about this.
Mr. M & Lady M – you are so right about more of this type of dirty, good for nothing nonsense going on across the country.
Damn it, this is the 21st century in the greatest democracy in the world and this is how our political issues are fought. Shameful!
Those cops should have been fired on the spot. This is why our law enforcement has lost the trust and respect of so many people: they get away with far too much, and should never have been allowed to unionize. After all, the military isn't allowed to unionize, why should some loser cops have more legal protection and support than our soldiers?
What's a 527?
A 527 group is generally used to refer to political organizations that are not regulated by the Federal Election Commission or by a state elections commission, and are not subject to the same contribution limits as PACs (Political Action Committees).
