That thought popped into my mind after seeing the coverage of Palin's new campaign 'reality TV' show.

She portrays an outdoorsy woman that represents a party that claims the country club set as their 'base'. She runs so counter to the GOP's usually outdoorsy squeamish base that she almost looks cartoonish.

Would 'Buffy' or 'Muffy' huddle around an open fire or cradle a shotgun in their arms while making cliche snips like '...reload'?

Who does Sarah Palin represent?

Is she a 'yard negro' for the lower class so they feel like they 'belong' in the republican party?

I can see the faces at a republican $3,000 a plate fundraiser when the Clampetts come staggering in with their possum pie and 12-gauges and their steel toed work boots tracking mud across the carpets.

Meanwhile, Palin in her over-the-top marketing of her image as being 'all that' just comes off too fake for me. Is she an actor in the GOP's hysteria over losing more elections? I'm saying that this is pretty damned embarrassing for a potential presidential candidate to stoop to these levels to attract potential voters. It's all fiction.

Is she is an attention whore. Is she is a strawman. Is she a flimflam artist. Is she a circus sideshow act to draw attention. Is she an auctioneer, selling America to the corporate class. Is she the barker at the sideshow trying to hoodwink people into paying money to see the bearded lady and the snake man.

The republicans don't want the people that will watch her antics actually thinking they can participate in the inner workings of the republican party and certainly don't want them being made aware of their plans they have to throw them away like a used Kleenex. The republican leadership only want the votes of these people, not some sense of entitlement to the inner workings. The leaders in their ivory towers don't want the 'riffraff' 'common folk' knowing what they are doing TO them and FOR themselves and their business benefactors.

They'd rather have you distracted by the 'Caribou Barbie' with the dead moose lashed to the fender (just remember to vote for the republican brand folks)...

They seem to be used to it though. WWE, John Boehner, George W. Bush's cowboy act... The sock stuffed flight suit... 'Reality TV'...

I can't wait until 'reality' strikes them between the eyes...
