Hillary and the Video
Hillary has clearly been designated as Obama’s hit man for the fool’s errand of blaming “the video” for the waves of anti-American violence that are washing over country after country in the Mid-East and Northern Africa. She performs her job well, giving rise to speculation that she may be on the video producer’s payroll.
I wagered with some that she would draw the line at today’s mournful ceremony in honor of those murdered at the grossly under-protected American consulate in Libya. But I lost. Hillary mentioned it for the THIRD time.
A few points about the video:
The big M must be a real wimpy guy to be so grossly sensitive about the ribbing contained in the video. Joseph Smith, the founder of Mormonism, has stood up to a lot more post-mortem ridicule.
Islam, with its prehistoric tenets about women, gays, and religious fealty is a perfectly appropriate subject of ridicule and satire. Maybe that’s why the big M is so sensitive. He knows that he’s peddling really rotten goods.
Government, because of its unique possession of power, has no business commenting on exercises of free speech. Free speech, a sacred concept I question only when reading some of the loonier comments of PJOR, applies to the video as much as it does to Hillary’s tasteless comments about it at the ceremony.
But the Dunce of the Day award must surely go to Press Secretary Jay Carney, who with a relative straight face implied that had there been no video, all would be peace and quiet in the Muslim world.

You need to go ahead and send your good vibes to Jeb Bush and get him moving for 2016 because your guy is getting hammered.
Actually I feel sorry for Hil and Jay. As they are relatively intelligent beings, it must be humiliating for them to have to utter such nonsense in the service of protecting the ample ass of their clueless boss.
