I awoke Tuesday with a terrible migraine. Here I was at 6 am and hurting and I haven't even had a chance to do the three S'es yet. I figured coffee was what I needed so I made a large pot for myself.
I also took a few excedrin in hopes of this being effective. It was not.

After partaking in the 3 S'es, getting dressed for work and heading out the door, I suddenly realized, WTH am I doing trying to not only go to work but drive in Raleigh traffic feeling like this? I'm a fool.
I knew I would not be able to go back to sleep being heavy caffinated so I decided to go online for a bit and check emails. As soon as i signed on..guess what???? you got it...Warning signs, sirens, all sorts of goodies are now going off on my computer, telling me I have been infected with well over 158 malicious virsues. Of course this did nothing but anger me considering just the night previously my step-son was on my computer doing GOD knows what. I blame nobody but myself for not monitoring the situation. Fortunatly I own an XP disc and decided it was time to wipe the entire system clean with a format. If any of you are aware of this procedure, you know it takes a lil less than 2 hours to perfomr such a task. So before I performed this. I made sure i had backed up everything I needed on disc for reinstallation.
Everything went off without a hitch. All my programs were installed i backed up, XP was working fine. The one thing I didn't count on was now I had no sound. With the exception of the BEEP the computer makes when you screw something up. I am not a computer "nerd" nor do I claim to know a lot about a computer. I proceed to look for answers on the microsoft website. After going through just about every page it had to offer i come up with no solutions. If it wasn't for the fact that I actually know someone who can do everything with a computer, this includes making it go get himself a beer when needed, I thought I would be screwed on the idea of me having sound. It took him less than 2 minutes to send me a link to what I needed, after spending a countless hour or two on the microsoft site. Yay Me.
The rest of my day and evening went on without a hitch. I still had the presence of a headache even after finally getting in a nap.
Now on tuesday nights,It is my time to watch TV religously. NCIS and The Mentalist are probably my two favorite shows on television and I do not miss an episode of either.
( yes i know this is an older photo with the director no longer on the cast)
These two shows are definitly my top favs. When the reality show of Big Brother graces the airways, I will be tuned into that as well. I am not a big TV watcher but I do take tuesday nights seriously when it comes to television.
After watching my two shows it was time for me to crash. I figured since I usually have a problem sleeping after taking a nap, this was going to be a TnT night for me, (toss and turn). It seems like that as soon as my head hit the pillow,I was gone in Lah Lah Land. This sounds all good and all until I awoke this morning with another headache. This time however, I did not have to deal with the computer issues of the previous day.
